Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyBeen coming here for over 35 years, the food has been up and down. The food was spot on, my wife and I enjoyed both courses washed down with a nice bottle of house white. Service, staff and reception all very friendly. Must admit Tuesday is quieter and better than for that than Mondays.
Papa Luigis – ChorleySunday for lunch: the usual 5* experience, and very good value. The Fegatini (chili chicken livers)were delicious, the mushroom soup unusually creamy. Main courses were cod in tomato sauce, and salmon pasta: beautifully cooked, generous portions served very hot. A perfect meal. We can't work out why more customers were in there, though it was a very cold day.

Papa Luigis – ChorleyFirst class as always. I usually have a different choice from the breakfast menu (You've got to try the Spanish breakfast) but we were only able to get there for lunchtime. A filter coffee for £2 and the meatballs was just the ticket for a Saturday. A great vibe and staff. Chef coming out and checking on you is a lovely touch and shows they genuinely want you to have a great time. My new favourite place in Chorley. Booking on the website was really easy as well.

Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyHad a lovely lunch on 11th Jan 2025. Such a comprehensive menu with lots of vegetarian options. Very good value with a lovely fun atmosphere and quirky decor. I had spicy chicken and my friend had feta cheese and olive, which she has said is now her new "go to" Sandwiches were beautiful, made on very fresh bread served with a fresh vibrant salad. Our side salad of chips were very hot and delicious. They had run out of teapots as it was very busy, so we both got a very large pot of tea each, which was just perfect, but a challenge to empty it!!! All staff were very attentive and friendly. The background music was just enough and comfortable volume. Will definitely be visiting again. Superb - thankyou
