My daughter and visited on the 3rd March for a late lunch. I had the little fishcakes and my daughter had the prawns and chorizo. Both were delicious. Then we both had the roast dinner, 1 beef and 1 chicken. Very tasty, and a nice sized portion. The only thing that let it down slightly was it could have been hotter. But the service and drinks and the all round experience was very good indeed

Fabulous bottomless brunch! Tasty food, friendly staff and great drinks menu! Staff were very attentive - we even stayed after bottomless brunch and moved up to the bar area upstairs for delicious cocktails and a boogie!

Normally would give 5 out of 5 for all - food atmosphere and service but unfortunately our Saturday evening visit wasn't as good as Normally is ( we've been many times before both mid week amd weekends). Service just wasn't as attentive im afraid and was filled with really drunk and really loud people at 5pm, music extremely loud even downstairs cpuld talk as much it seemed to be more of a club than restaurant. Food lovely as always was just abit left and didn't get offered refills of drinks etc. Left a little disappointed compared to previous visits that we've thoroughly enjoyed.

Living locally, I cant believe we've not been here sooner. Came for a rare date night with my Husband on Thursday so we did the Steak night. 2 steaks (but there are other options on the steak night menu) and a bottle of wine for £39. We upgraded the wine and were recommended a bottle based on what I like and it couldn't have been a better choice. The food was absolutely exceptional. We had bruschetta and cheese garlic bread to start and I had the Rump and my Husband the Sirloin, which came with chips, peppercorn sauce, tomato and mushroom. We shared sticky toffee pudding to finish. This was some of the best food we've had. Absolutely no complaints. The staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and polite and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely return, over and over I'm sure. Absolutely 5 stars, thank you for a perfect evening of food and drink!

My wife and I had been looking forward to spending our 52nd wedding anniversary at Verdes and the experience completely spoiled our day. We had made a reservation for 6pm a number of weeks before and arrived at 5.55pm. We announced to the young lady behind the bar that we had a 6pm reservation and was asked would we sit and have a drink whilst waiting for our table. A waiter suddenly appeared and asked would we like a table for 2. We tried to explain that we had pre booked but he didn't seem interested and never checked on our reservation. We were offered a choice of tables. I always thought that if you had made a reservation that a certain table would have been allocated to you so that if the restaurant was exceptionally busy your table would still be available. We were given the menus and ordered drinks while deciding on what to eat. Some 25 minutes passed before I managed to make contact with a waiter and asked if we could order. When our starters arrived my wifes order was wrong. Apology accepted as we can all make mistakes and the correct order duly arrived. My wife had ordered steak diane with the steak to be med to rare and I ordered the beef stroganoff. The steak was well done and my portion of stroganoff was tiny for the price of £23.99. I would have got a more substantial meal for £8.00 from Tesco's finest range. My wife would not let me complain as she does not like confrontation so I said I would wait till we paid. Both of us having a sweet tooth we ordered desserts. The waiter didn't seem to know what the cheesecake was so my wife ordered strawberries and ice cream while I ordered profiteroles with ice cream. The order arrived with some half a dozen strawberries cut in half and a blob of ice cream and 3 profiteroles with fresh cream. Enough was enough and we didn't bother with coffees. Throughout our time here all of the staff we encountered showed nothing but apathy. Not once did any of them try to engage with us, smile or show any concern as to whether we were enjoying the experience. Only when I went to pay the bill was I asked was everything ok. Whilst the wife waited in the hallway I patiently (for me) went through all the issues we had experienced. Offering an apology the chap offered me a bottle of wine as a form of compensation. Sorry but a bottle of wine on the menu might be £20 but it probably only cost the restaurant a fiver. I refused and paid the bill in full stating that we would never return. While waiting for our lift the waiter who mixed up the starter came to apologise again. I the told him all of the other issues we had had and it would be fair to say he was left speechless. So thank you very much Verdes for spoiling our 52nd wedding anniversary.

First time here. Took my husband for his birthday. Very busy, which is good, and service was very good. Food very good a little disappointed with the lobster ravioli, the prawns were too tiny. But we will go back and try something else with our friends.

As a group of friends who meet regularly at The Cosmopolitan Restaurant, we know that the quality of the food served is always of a consistently high standard. Each time we visit we are assured a warm welcome by the owner, his wife or a member of his staff. Highly recommended by all of us. A real gem to have such a lovely eating establishment in Chorley.

Came to the restaurant on Saturday night for my friends hen party we all had a absolutely lovely time. The food was great service we got from Megan was first class nothing to much for her. Will be coming back again thanks

Food was excellent and very big portions, service also excellent.

My wife and I eat out a lot but this is by far our most favourite restaurant.. it is always a lovely ambience and all the staff are brilliant. The food is brilliant and the prices are very reasonable. We go on average about 3 times a month and we are never disappointed , Misca and his team are always welcoming..

As good as ever. Lots of choice - the pasta is always a good choice and very reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly and polite

Excellent meal here, went at lunchtime with husband. Service fantastic from start to end. Had the 2 course lunch and it was very good,the choice and food was fantastic! Highly recommend & will definitely be going back. We'll done Papa's.

Went for first time since covid and what a fab surprise . The staff were great and 100pc professional in every. The food was so good and plentiful although on the early bird deal that I was amazed with the restaurant . Will be back for a superb meal again very soon

Booking a table for 3 was no problem. Service was good. All three meals were excellent as they always are. Reasonably priced. All the staff were friendly and not pushy. We have never had cause to complain at Papa Luigis.

Me and my partner visited for the first time yesterday for Sunday lunch. It was absolutely lovely. We both had a really good time highly recommend them and we will definitely be visiting again.
