Great atmosphere, friendly service and superb food.

Lovely restaurant with a good atmosphere. The service is always excellent with attentive, professional staff. Reasonably priced, good quality food.

Our party of 5 thought the 5 course tasting menu evening was excellent! The only downside was because it took so long to get through all the courses it was near to 10 o'clock before we ate our desert, which was a bit late for us, bearing in mind you should leave at least 2 hours after eating before going to bed. We enjoyed the time lapse between each course and meant we could enjoy each course, so would like to suggest that you start serving the food at 7pm instead of 7.30, making a 6.30pm for 7 instead of 7 for 7.30.

Our go to Italian in Chorley area. We've tried them all and nothing beats Verdes. A welcoming dining area with views of the duck pond. Food, quality and choice is very good and portions just right. (Manged to get three courses in) a good drinks selection and plentiful, staff very friendly and helpful.

Loved it. We had a meal here on a Saturday late afternoon and cannot fault anything. The food was delicious, the staff were attentive & polite. Best part were the delicious Vegan cakes for dessert and the views. We were lucky enough to get a booth at the window but the views are visible from everywhere. First time visit but will definitely be back.

Excellent food, shame not busier to create the great atmosphere it use to have, Staff not very friendly but we only went for the food which again was excellent.

We went yesterday Sunday 30th April, not been for a while 3 courses for £19.99 it was amazing best Italian ever, the food was great, good value for money will definitely be back soon.

First time visit and loved it, had pizzas, dirty fries and salad, all tasted great, will visit again

One of my all time favourites!!!!!! I’ve never had a bad meal there, from my first date to now. Delicious food and beautiful setting. My only advice would be, don’t rush your customers, we can be in and out within 45 mins, and it can feel hurried.

We went for my wife’s 60th birthday and it was excellent as usual.

Had a lovely meal with friends. Have been before numerous times but the food this time was the best we’ve had. Service was spot on and reasonably priced. The only slight niggle was the Pinot Grigio was just ok.

We are regular customers as food is always fresh, hot and delicious. It’s our favourite restaurant and the lunch time deal is excellent value for money. The staff always go the extra mile and are flexible enough to adapt a menu item such as chicken risotto into a gorgeous vegetarian one; packed with mushrooms. Pizza’s are brilliant. Lovely clean loo’s too thank you chef and all staff very much

Our first visit for breakfast did not disappoint . Our party of 5 were very satisfied with their food . I should have asked however for my coffee to arrive with my breakfast as it had gone cold by the time breakfast had arrived as I do enjoy a drink with breakfast ! The views were beautiful having had a table by the window . Will definitely revisit !!

I’ve been here several times and always enjoyed it. Especially as I am vegan and the desserts are amazing. I brought my vegan daughter for afternoon tea and we both thought it was amazingly good. Just the right mix of sweet and savoury but we did have to take home some of the desserts as there was that much food. Excellent value for money in a great setting 5*

Enjoyable tea with the girls on a Saturday, a 1st, as we usually dine at lunchtime, Relaxing atmosphere, very nice food, and excellent service too. What more can you ask for? Thank you.

Pizza are outstanding as usual. Forever accommodating with toppings easily interchangeable. Onion rings however are definitely shop bought and pale in comparison to the quality of chips and pizza. Would definitely come again but wouldn’t order the onion rings
