This was our first visit to Whins and we will certainly be back again. Its in a delightful location with lovely views. Right from the start we received a warm welcome from the very attentive staff. The food was delicious and my partner who is not a fully committed vegetarian, raved about the burgers and is already planning to go back. It was so good I bought gift vouchers for my vegetarian friends birthday! Your doing a great job !

Excellent meal excellent service super friendly staff. It’s all vegan how great is that you get a full menu with everything you could want on it. Starters mains and sweets . We had the Christmas menu which was two courses for £19 had the mushroom Pate and we could not resist the burger it is to die for. A note on people saying it’s to expensive I don’t know if anyone has noticed everywhere you eat is expensive these days. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Fingers crossed going to go for a spa day with afternoon lunch in new year. Thank you Whins Green Kitchen.

Visited Whins for the first time with my friend who is Vegan. On entering, the atmosphere was nice and it was quite busy. We had booked and was offered a booth by a friendly young girl. The older lady wasn't as welcoming but seemed to warm to us as the time went on!! I went for the burger and my friend had the roast dinner. Both were lovely and we ate every bit! Washed down with a lovely glass of vino! My friend wanted the cheesecake but not right then and they very kindly boxed it up for her to take away. Very reasonably priced and good service and food. I would definitely recommend.

Fabulous Christmas lunch this week. The soup (spicy lentil and aubergine) was superb and the cottage pie delicious. Staff very attentive. Beautiful setting and view

What an amazing night! As soon as we walked through the door a member of staff greeted us and took my name and took me and my girlfriend to our table. She took our order for our drinks straight away. Then once the drinks had arrived we ordered our food. Can’t fault the food or the service. It was also very good value for money as it was around £30 for a shared starter and a couple pizzas and drinks. Very nice atmosphere, just can’t fault it. Thanks for a brilliant night Papa Luigis!

My partner and I had afternoon tea the food was very nice however the balance from savoury to sweet was disproportionate, by which I mean there was a greater emphasis on the latter which would be pleasing for anyone with a sweet tooth. We, however, would have preferred more savoury.

What a beautifully cooked meal. I tried Tiramisu for the first time and my partner is half Italian and he hasn't eaten one as nice outside of Italy! We will definitely be booking again.

The welcome was lovely and service attentive and helpful. The food was divine! I had the wellington and it really was beautifully cooked, lots of variety of veg to accompany the dish. I ate every last morsel and was stuffed! Portion size was great. my companion loved the burger and the chips were splendid and crispy. wish Id had room for dessert!!!

Excellent! Met up with friends for our Christmas meet up, 2 were stuck on the motorway and were 30 minutes late. Staff very kindly kept our table booking. Food and drink excellent, so much to choose from. I have been here many times and have not been disappointed. 2 of my friends, it was their first visit and they said they would definitely go back again. The atmosphere was great, always very busy so would recommend booking a table.

Relaxed atmosphere and service. The food was exceptional (Wellington/ cakes) and the views a real delight! Will definitely be coming back to taste more of the menu.

Had another wonderful meal at Whins Green yesterday. The usual friendly service and delicious food. The roast dinner was tasty and just what was needed on a grey day. The Tiramisu was light and scrumptious.

Loved the menu and the surroundings. Will definitely return.
