The food was very good also the service was good we have been going to Verdes for over 25 years and always found it to be a very good overall experience.

Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyEverything about our visit was excellent except we Were approached four times by different staff asking us to order drinks the first time we hadn't even sat at our table
Papa Luigis – ChorleyHaving had a bad experience with the service offered in January I promptly cancelled a 2nd booking I had made some weeks later…only to receive an email the day before my “cancelled” booking…looking forward to seeing you tomorrow” to which I replied reminding them I had cancelled some weeks earlier! However I then received a further email stating ‘how was your experience” so I’m kindly obliging as requested “very poor service/communication with customers”…”both at the venue and online” I would only recommend visiting if you like to be ignored and spoken to in a patronising manner by the staff!!
Whins Green KitchenAbsolutely love Whins Green Kitchen , lovey healthy fresh food, great service and a wonderful vibrant atmosphere, can’t wait to go back
Whins Green KitchenAn excellent meal in a lovely location with very good service. A real find and well be taking the whole family now that we've discovered it. The only slight thing was that I felt the drinks were a little on the expensive side. The food, however, was well worth it. Thanks to Whin's Green Kitchen for a great lunch.
Whins Green KitchenWe use this Italian regularly and I have never been let down with the service, food and friendliness of the staff. An amazing atmosphere and lovely food the Garlic Bread with cheese is amazing
Papa Luigis – ChorleyExcellent food. Service a little slow but will visit again.
Whins Green KitchenBeing a life long vegetarian and vegan for 8 years I was excited to be coming to a veg/vegan venue. I can only comment on one visit and will return mainly out of curiosity to see if the main menu offered something better than the ‘big breakfast’ I had- which was over salted, hash brown wasn’t cooked enough, and not sure what the aubergine bacon was because all I had was a shrivelled up small slice of aubergine- was that the bacon? I think the surprise was paying 50p for plant milk making a cup of tea £3.50!!! I expect to pay for plant milk (although begrudgingly) at none veg places, but this was a veggie place. Surely plant milk isn’t an ‘extra’. Undecided about my visit. But the views and main menu look good so I will come back ,
Whins Green KitchenThoroughly enjoyed our family meal out midweek to papa luigis for my birthday. We had mains and desserts. All portions were perfect and food hot and tasty. We all had empty plates, even my four year old that doesn’t eat much normally polished off his lasagne and loved it! The waitress was really friendly and lovely with the children too. Service was quick but not rushed. We will be back soon
Papa Luigis – ChorleyYet again another excellent meal. Great service which is always served piping hot. Incredible value for money on the early bird menu.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyExcellent food again, excellent service again!! The whole team made the evening great!! Thanks!!
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyExcellent meal for our family of 6, with a very warm welcome. Presentation, tastiness of the food and the service was very good. Thank you very much to all the staff for an enjoyable evening.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyThe second time I've visited and it is such a lovely resturant. The food is amazing and staff so friendly. Really nice atmosphere.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWas so excited when friends told me about a local vegetarian/vegan restaurant. We had booked in for a breakfast. The views over the country side make this a fabulous location. However I found the service not particularly friendly, the menu very uninspiring and the food average.Overpriced for the food too.Visited a place near Bolton called Lottie's later that day and with good vegetarian options this is how a cafe should be.Hope you can improve things at Whins would love to return.
Whins Green KitchenYet again an excellent meal. Prompt curtoise service. 10 out of 10.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyThe food was lovely and we were greeted by friendly staff however, we were unable to fully appreciate what was on offer as the service was not great. After periods of long waits and failed attempts to get the attention of staff we left without ordering a second course and had to leave the payment on the table. We did see other tables being regularly checked on which made it disappointing and left us feeling like we were in the way.
Whins Green KitchenI loved it so much I came back a week later! First visit we had breakfast, the food was delicious, the staff are lovely and the views are amazing! Second visit we had the afternoon tea, an adundance of devine food that we had to take some home! I'm hoping my next visit I will be making use of the spa facilities as I've heard they're brilliant also.
