Visited on Sunday 9th Jan 3pm till 6.15. Service briliant very friendly &warming. Food & service very good. Hope to go back soon as we can.

Not been here for thirty years and I was so impressed that the warm, welcoming atmosphere was just the same. Great choice of large/small pasta dishes coupled with the familiar, comforting renditions of ‘Happy Birthday’ made this a special night for my Dad’s 78 th birthday. He rated the gluten free pizza as the best in town! Well done to all the team for preserving a little gem! Helen

This is such a lovely location with a fantastic vegan selection and absolutely lovely and attentive staff.

First visit for us. We visited for breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was great. It’s a beautiful setting too! We will be back to try the main menu.

Our first visit - live very local but never heard of it until an advertisement on local radio. Superb food and friendly staff. Great to have such a wide choice too - we will need to come back again and again and again!

Loved our visit to Papa Luigi’s. Staff were welcoming and friendly and efficient. Food was delicious! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Fabulous food as usual, perfect setting. Only gripe was we had to ask to place our order after being sat down for 30mins (we were with a 6 month old baby so time was tight!) But the food was perfect!

I visited yesterday for lunch and, as usual, the food was delightful and the service was excellent. This place is fabulous - the views over the fields are incredible, the food is amazing and great value, the staff are helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Travelled here especially after hearing an advertisement on the radio. The food, presentation and location are all exquisite. Will definitely be making the trip here again!

Went just before Christmas so it was busy but they managed to accomodate us in a booth looking out across the lovely countryside. I can't fault the food or service but what was slightly overbearing was the noise level. I know it was Christmas so there was much merry making but I think it would be like that if full on any day - I was envious of my wife being able to turn her hearing aid down. It requires something to absorb the sound - probably on the ceiling as this appears to be the only surcace you would be able to put anything. Would it stop me from going again? Certainly not but I would have to go when its a little less busy if possible.

Quality fresh food that tastes fantastic every time.

Had the Christmas special, the salmon starter was devine just loved it, cream cheese with smoked salmon, served with salad and bread soldiers, would have loved a few more as there was so much salmon. Turkey main course was nice, stuffing and pigs blankets were fab and good quality. The Turkey and roast potatoes were good. Vegetables were fresh not frozen, would have loved a carrot to add a spot of colour. Overall I was pleased with the meal. This was my second visit would go again.

This was our first visit to Whins and we will certainly be back again. Its in a delightful location with lovely views. Right from the start we received a warm welcome from the very attentive staff. The food was delicious and my partner who is not a fully committed vegetarian, raved about the burgers and is already planning to go back. It was so good I bought gift vouchers for my vegetarian friends birthday! Your doing a great job !

Excellent meal excellent service super friendly staff. It’s all vegan how great is that you get a full menu with everything you could want on it. Starters mains and sweets . We had the Christmas menu which was two courses for £19 had the mushroom Pate and we could not resist the burger it is to die for. A note on people saying it’s to expensive I don’t know if anyone has noticed everywhere you eat is expensive these days. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Fingers crossed going to go for a spa day with afternoon lunch in new year. Thank you Whins Green Kitchen.

Visited Whins for the first time with my friend who is Vegan. On entering, the atmosphere was nice and it was quite busy. We had booked and was offered a booth by a friendly young girl. The older lady wasn't as welcoming but seemed to warm to us as the time went on!! I went for the burger and my friend had the roast dinner. Both were lovely and we ate every bit! Washed down with a lovely glass of vino! My friend wanted the cheesecake but not right then and they very kindly boxed it up for her to take away. Very reasonably priced and good service and food. I would definitely recommend.

Fabulous Christmas lunch this week. The soup (spicy lentil and aubergine) was superb and the cottage pie delicious. Staff very attentive. Beautiful setting and view
