We love the 3 Millstones Inn. The staff are friendly and helpful service is very good, the ambiance is intimate and special and the food is delicious. The attention to detail is exceptional and the coffee always piping hot and really nice.

Afters was apple crumble and the chef obliged by swapping the custard for cream.Absolutely fantastic taste and well cooked. Attentive staff and fine beer, only one pint as was driving , will return and hopefully more than 1 pint. Highly recommend.

The Swan with Two Necks – ClitheroeHad an excellent overnight stay on Friday. Room was spacious, bed was massive and comfy. The bar and restaurant was warm and inviting. Food and drink were great and service matched it. Breakfast was great too. We will return.

Shireburn Arms Hotel – ClitheroeBooking was easy online. Beautiful restaurant, excellent service and very friendly staff. Made us feel very welcome. The menu choice was excellent making it hard to choose what we wanted. Lots of good varied choice. The food was excellent and a great varied wine menu too. The wine explanations were helpful in choosing a good bottle to suit our meal choice. Then the desert menu came and wow what a menu, again hard to choose and my choice was superb. Would love to return to try the rest of the menu when we are next in the area.
