The Steak is awesome!
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeWe booked online for Sunday lunch. The restaurant was busy - as expected- so there was a slight delay before the main course arrived. We didn't see this as a problem, as we don't go out to eat if we are in a rush. More importantly, all the staff were excellent and clearly well trained in providing good service. As for the food, we could not fault a thing- perfectly cooked and presented. We will be back asap!!
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeI am afraid we didn’t have a very good experience. Visited for a late Sunday lunch. Staff were friendly and took our order. Starter arrive which was ok but after an hour we had to chase up the main course. There was a mix up in the kitchen for which they apologised and they took the main courses off the bill. Staff should have realised we had been waiting much sooner. Very average
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeWe decided to go to the red pump to celebrate a birthday, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The steaks were as good as expected and we will certainly be back !
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeExcellent all round.
The Red Pump Inn – Clitheroeas always food and service second to nothing in the area, some other local places seem to be forever in the news ,but this is the best in my opinion for a lot less moniey than others
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeStayed at red pump inn as we were attending a wedding. Staff were amazing , looked after us the 3 days and nights we were there. Yurts are luxury, even had there own little heater. Pub cosy and comfortable, no complaints about food, well presented and tasty. Couldnt of asked for a better 3 days. Fran the owner was great made sure we had everything we needed and nothing was to much trouble.
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeWe chose the Red Pump after reading the menu online and loving the choice of steaks and it did not disappoint! Absolutely gorgeous food, we had 3 courses each and thoroughly enjoyed each one. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service excellent and the location absolutely stunning! I will definitely be visiting again and would 100% recommend everyone to visit!
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeHaven’t been to The Red Pump before although I have driven past many times . As we have visited most of the restaurants in the Ribble Valley we fancied a change. We booked on line an hour before we ate , early at 6-15pm . The car park looks like work in progress, so we decided to go straight inside. We were shown to our table and the waiter appeared straight away . We ordered drinks whilst looking at the menu. We noticed a variety miss matched chairs , but I’ll tell you what, soooo comfortable , I had the Pea & asparagus soup , and Chicken & Mushroom pie . One of my pet hates is look-warm soup , there was no need to worry, both were piping hot . My wife also loved her food . I can highly recommend, we will most certainly be returning. Great friendly service also
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeAt last, a Sunday lunch which is all you dream it is going to be. Roast beef and roast lamb cooked to perfection, with excellent vegetables, followed by delicious puddings. This is definitely going to be our eating place of choice, particularly as a visit to The Red Pump, so charmingly furnished and decorated, is combined with a drive through our favourite beautiful Lancashire countryside, And I haven't even mentioned the warm welcome from all the friendly and efficient staff. I cannot recommend The Red Pump enough.
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeLove this place. Bang in the heart of the Ribble Valley/Trough of Bowland on its own. Great food and accommodation and even Glamping! Character and style
The Red Pump Inn – Clitheroeexcellent food
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeFrom the moment I first stumbled upon this lovely place when lost, I've wanted to visit to eat. The opportunity arose on Bank Holiday Monday and I wasn't disappointed. I've popped in the bar on a couple of occasions and was really looking forward to the planned visit. The décor and furnishings are beautiful, the ambience was relaxed and I could tell I was somewhere special. Even the music choice was great and the acoustic quality really high. I had the belly pork for main and I've never tasted better. The whole dish was delicious. The service was very good - my only issue being I had to recharge a glass at the bar on one occasion. Can't wait for an opportunity to visit again.
