Good service, good food, great evening

Love coming here. Tend to visit most weeks. Food well presented, tasty and good value. Beautiful cafe and outside seating.

Lovely breakfast outdoors. Always a pleasant experience. Prices have increased since our last visit. Portions are generous though but over £30 a couple for breakfast is questionable.

Excellent veggie breakfast as always and the pistachio and raspberry cake is simply wonderful . Really enjoyed it all along with the lovely service .

1st time at the barn for breakfast it was very very good, food was well cooked and looked great on the plate. no problem with one of us gluten free all catered for. staff were very friendly and helpful, over all can not fault the barn at all will be going again very soon

It was very nice evening food was okay staff very welcoming the full rack ribs big let down for me from my last visit half the size and same price .

We were a party of 4 for breakfast on Thursday this week , each enjoyed a different breakfast and quite eager to return to sample lunch. Thanks.

Fabulous lunch, as usual. Attentive staff, lovely food and a nice relaxed atmosphere. My favourite place for an informal and comfortable lunch with friends.

Visited for a late lunch. Food was lovely as always. Unfortunately the service was very slow and we had to ask to have the table cleared and look at the dessert menu. It wasn't particularly busy and staff seemed to be busy chatting near the tills!

The food here is always gorgeous. If you haven’t tried it then do. A real local gem.

Lovely food and atmosphere, friendly staff.

Been here several times for lunch, breakfast or just cake and coffee. Latest time we had breakfast. I had the vegetarian which was delicious especially the poached eggs and rosemary mushrooms. Came away very full and although a vegetarian sausage seemed odd to not be available I didn't miss it by the time I had finished my plate. The other members of my party loved the traditional full English. Food is always good, piping hot and fresh. Tables always clean and staff always polite and efficient. Totally recommend although do book to save disappointment.

My partner & I went in at 6:30 on Saturday evening and were slightly disappointed with the food. Service was good however the food was no hotter than warm when it arrived which was disappointing given it was pretty quiet when we ordered our food. Also really didn’t enjoy the hummus starter with bread

A lovely lunch spent with dear friends at The Barn Café yesterday. Food was delicious & service was prompt. I had the Buddha bowl with grilled chicken (a little disappointed with the amount of chicken for the additional price - could have been more generous), 1 friend had the same with mozzarella & her portion seemed more in keeping with the price. Second friend had fish & chips which looked lovely. All washed down with 3 cloudy lemonades & coffees which were delicious & well presented. Looking forward to coming back again in the near future.
