A friend and I met here for lunch and a chat. The environment was clean and pleasant, the food was good, service was fine (but might have felt a little slow if you were in a hurry, which we were not) and the price was reasonable for the quality of food. We had booked a table, and were pleased that we had because they were busy, but we were still offered a choice of inside or outside. Despite the cafe being busy, we did not feel at all rushed to vacate our table when we had finished eating. Overall a nice experience and we will definitely return.

Lovely - excellent food.

Lovely food, some different dishes to try, I had the Buddha bowl which was delicious. Lovely friendly staff and the cafe itself was clean and airy with options to eat indoors or outside. Full marks

Thank for a lovely Sunday lunch perfect as all you food and service is when we eating with you be it just coffee and cake or a full meal .Your staff are 5 star and as I am on a wheelchair they always give great assistance if I need see you again soon and thank you again . I booked on line this time and found it very easy xxxx❤️❤️

Seen to the table and ordered a coffee while I waited for my friend once she arrived we ordered our food which came lovely and quick we both had the fish and chips which was absolutely delicious but then once finished we then waited for someone to take the plates away and maybe asking if we wanted anything else nobody came we kept trying to get their attention but we were just left waiting even once we had got one member of staff to ask she went to go a order pad which took her another 5 minutes and we asked for 2ice cream’s and 2 more drinks only for then another member of staff to tell us sorry we have run out of cheesecake well we definitely didn’t order cheesecake it wasn’t even on the menu !!! Over all the food was lovely and we will definitely go back but the service wasn’t the best we have experienced

We visit quite regularly the food is excellent and all freshly cooked, the staff are friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble and try their best to accommodate all needs. Parking is easy and access for all is brilliant can’t recommend enough. Haven’t tried their cakes as husband is diabetic but they look superb. Give them a visit!

There were 4 of us in our party and we all cleared our plates. Really unusual dishes, well cooked and well-presented. We have eaten at the Barn Cafe on several occasions and have never been disappointed.

Arrived too early for booked table but the food was worth the wait. Service was not the speediest but the serving staff seemed to be extremely busy. Enjoyed what we had. I had salmon bruschetta and my husband had the fish and chips. It was a long trip up from the south of the county - the CITY of Southend.

Fresh wholesome food served with a smile. Relaxed atmosphere for all ages. Easy parking and access for pushchairs or wheelchair users.
