We had yet another fabulous family Sunday lunch at the Miners this weekend! I have never found any other place that serves such beautifully cooked meat and crispy roast potatoes. Plenty on non meat options even on a Sunday and a kids menu went down very well with our youngest grandson.

EVERYTHING IS GREAT

As a family of five with different dietary needs we were really well accommodated. Food was excellent and service matched it. I would without hesitation highly recommend Miners Inn for anyone

Amazing food and atmosphere

I booked a table for a group of friends and everyone enjoyed a superb meal. I enjoy being able to carve your own meat joints at the table. The best place I have visited for Sunday lunch and I look forward to returning. again.

Whilst Sunday Lunch is so good, that we wouldn't go anywhere else, this Sunday it was exceptional. I haven't tasted beef this good for a long time, it was cooked to perfection and was pink and delicious. The vegetables, roast potatoes, gravy and Yorkshire puddings were perfect and we even had some red cabbage which is always welcome. My only complaint was that we didn't have room for a pudding - maybe next time!

Sunday lunch at the Miners, Sling. Food was first class. We had beef & pork. Both were presented on a carving board. Huge amount of food. Everything was 1st class. The servers were amazing, nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent Sunday lunch. Beef exceptional, cutting it how we like it at the table makes a big difference. Pink and tender. Great Yorkshires. Good selection of veg. Lovely and hot. Have already recommended to friends and colleagues.

Brilliant 3 course set menu, all food was piping hot and delicious, 10/10! Will definitely be making a return visit.

Nice cosy, friendly place. Had table booked for 6.45pm unfortunately a few things on the menu were sold out already which was disappointing as we felt we had gone early. The food we did have was very good

We were booked in on Friday 3rd October by our daughter who lives in Parkend. We were here to house and dog sit, the meals we had were absolutely delicious ,including 2 vegan meals which were also first class. We decided to visit again on Thursday evening and decided to try the £10 meal options yet again absolutely brilliant. The waiting on staff were very attentive and efficient. We were served by Sam who is a credit to your business and very pleasant. We are hoping to try and visit again soon when we visit her again. A big thumbs up, ambience, excellent food served by attentive staff ,what more could you want.

Had Sunday Roasts at The Miners and they have always been amazing and value for money, We ate on Friday Night and had Scallops to die for, absolutely stunning!, My partner had the Duck which was cooked to perfection, and I had the Squash & Pumpkin Risotto that was absolutely delicious- the best we've eaten to date. Compliments to chef and kitchen teams for outstanding food - Thank you. All of the staff were warm, friendly, attentive, efficient with excellent customer service all round. Thank you.

Booked a Sunday Roast last weekend. The food was delicious, well presented and plenty. Service was very friendly & from some young staff members too. Couldn't fit in a dessert as the roast was plenty. Certainly would book again. Booking service is so easy to mange with good communication/ reminders.

Come here regularly and have never had a bad meal. Food and service excellent. I am disabled and Sam always places me near the door as I can just about manage to get there without using the wheelchair. If you want a genuine first class meal cooked by a great Chef, this is the place to come. You won't feel hungry afterwards. Thanks, Sally.
