My friend and I really enjoyed our Monday Pot Luck meal to celebrate her birthday. The food was lovely, service was prompt, friendly and efficient. Great value for money as always. Many thanks Team Miners, will be back again soon.

We booked for Sunday lunch as we were staying nearby for the weekend . The Sunday lunch was superb , the meat dishes expertly cooked and served very attractively with loads of fresh beautifully cooked veg . Staff were really friendly and extremely attentive . The cocktail was great too. We highly recommend this pub and menu .

I found you on the Find Me GF app, where all the best places for us gluten free coeliacs are, and I’m glad I did! I had a beautiful roast beef Sunday lunch, my partner had the chicken. Everything was delicious, and most importantly, I wasn’t ill at all! Only one thing - I’m sure it’s lovely when you’re out with a group to have a piece of beef to carve, but when it’s only one serving, it was quite difficult to slice - perhaps a single portion could be plated up instead?

First time at the Miners for us. We were a family of 8 celebrating an 80th Birthday. The place itself was a little unassuming but we had a warm welcome and the food and service was fantastic. We booked for Sunday lunch and the portions and quality of the food was great. Very friendly staff and good and quick service from the moment we arrived. Well recommended.

Still one of my favourite places to eat in the Forest of Dean.

We (myself, partner and 2 friends) ate here on a weekday lunchtime. The food was amazing so tasty. Probably my only criticism is no side orders- but maybe coming from the city I’m too used to multiple choice. It was very relaxed surroundings and lovely attentive staff.

Very enjoyable meal and really appreciated that the food is sourced locally. Well worth a visit.

Visited the miners at sling with my family.we had a delious lunch and throughly enjoyed it.the service is excellent. Would recommend it to everyone.

The food was nicely presented and served. Given that we were choosing from the “Pot Luck” menu we were happy with the menu choices. The pub has a nice ambience, tables are well-spaced and staff polite/helpful. And most importantly the food was very tasty….

Amazing Restaurant food superb always come nicely presented excellent value. The service is five star. Everyone are so nice to you. One of the best Restaurants in the area. Four of us visited last Saturday. Had an amazing meal.

Faultless, we wouldn't go anywhere else. The roast beef was exceptional.

What a fantastic little gem, set in the beautiful forest of dean, the staff are so helpful and very friendly and helpful, the food was outstanding and service to match , thankyou for making our evening out for dinner a beautiful one.
