Booked a table tonight for 8.15 online but when we arrived we were told we had booked late and a large table had booked meanwhile so we wouldn’t be served to 9pm. Please sort out your online system so this doesn’t happen again. We’re a visiting yacht so could have eaten on board if we had known rather than going on the river taxi into Fowey.
The Royal Fowey Yacht Club – FoweyGreat food, lovely gift for mothers day. Very thoughtful. Style over substance with gravy boat. No handle and so hot, it burnt fingers. Also, when attempting to add a tip the service charge was already on the bill. As a personal choice I prefer to be asked on this. Will definitely visit again though.
