We stayed at The Molesworth Arms for 4 nights and ate in the pub each evening as well as having breakfast there. The food is amazing, the menu is not huge but there is something for everyone and all our meals were delicious. The cocktail menu is a winner too

Great meal last night (Tue) lamb rump with Champ, also had the roast on Sunday equally as good, all 3 colleagues that served us were also excellent , polite thoughtful and listened really well. Great venue with great food and service

Lovely staff, food and drinks, however the toilets were filthy and in desperate need of a revamp.

Food was absolutely fantastic! Officially a new favourite spot to eat. Atmosphere was calm and lovely music (the big pink cocktail sign is the only negative as it’s in your eyes where I was sat and was super bright) The bar staff were fantastic as it was a busy night, the waitressing was slightly less professional although it was busy so that could be understood. Overall absolutely wonderful place

Great service, atmosphere and drinks, food not so much . Curry didn’t taste of much except curry powder and chickpeas . Steak was nice but spoiled by peppercorn sauce which had very hard peppercorns in it, are they meant to be like that,? We did complain at the time and my wife said she did know what she was talking about , the waitress said ‘I don’t’ ! We spent about £60 on 2 meals and 2 drinks ( and starters) which is about right as long as the food is great. I’m afraid it was not.

Excellent food excellent service and well priced. Great music too - a real treat evening out highly recommended Had steak on a stone / was excellent quality meat and what a great way to enjoy it. Beer looked tempting too but was driving!

We live in Cornwall so use a lot of the local Pubs, Hotels for quick night away. Padstow, Fowey, St Mawes and others. First time here and was delighted with the room and general areas. The food is fantastic. Steak on a stone...wow. excellent. We will definitely be using again.

Lemon twist is always a good choice for happy hour. The value for money is great and the staff are lovely. Thankyou!

We three enjoyed our lunch on 17th December. It was to celebrate the birthday of a dear friend who was disappointed not to see Jeremy Rowe. I had asked for a window seat when I booked but this was not given to us. We were seated near the door where it was cold and drafty. I asked to move, which we did, but it was still cold. The service was noticeably very slow. The person taking our order had extraordinary difficulty in understanding that one of us want a starter dish served as main course size. He just didn't understand. Our food took quite a long time. My request for ketchup to go with my fish and chips was delivered in a ramekin and enough for one person. Asking for ketchup for another of our party (also fish and chips) was somehow a surprise to the waitress but it did arrive. It took a very long time for our finished plates to be removed. The dessert menu was not offered so I was given one by another diner, and then because of the delay I went to the bar to ask for a dessert order to be taken. I was told it needed to be a different person taking that order, so I sat down and we waited. We asked for one dessert and two spoons. These arrived. The dessert arrived with two more spoons. The dessert was delicious. We are locals but I won't be booking again until the weather is warmer and the staff more alert to what is going on around them. Otherwise we were happy with the food.

We have eaten here twice over the last two weeks - a Sunday roast, and an evening meal. Both have been absolutely gorgeous, and we can not fault anything. Great food, cosy atmosphere, and we were really well looked after. Highly recommend.

Great little spot for some food - unlike some other places we’ve been to or stayed at recently you could tell the owners have put a lot of effort into the decor and vibe. Great food.

Me and my wife booked a table here for our 13th anniversary and its safe to say we were not disappointed. Staff were really friendly and went above and beyond. Food was fantastic, hot and really tasty. Full of flavour. Cocktails were great. Frozen daiquiris were great. You can tell these arnt your usual cheap cocktails. Really happy with everything. Safe to say when we are next in falmouth we will be coming back.

Booked a birthday meal for two on a December Monday. We were staying in Wadebridge and, I am so glad we chose to remain local. From the outside, the Molesworth seems little different from the two other main pubs in the town (The Swan and The Bridge On Wool), but inside it could not have been more different. A friendly, warm atmosphere, welcoming staff who made the evening. Christmas was in full swing (it was December, after all) but that did not detract from the atmosphere of an intimate meal for two. The food was delicious - we shared the camembert for starters, and had the salmon and duck for mains - and this helped round off a perfect stay in the Cornish town. Thank you.
