Very good food and service

Cannot fault this place. Food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The staff were chatty and polite, made you feel well looked after and valued. The place has a cool vibe and a very relaxed atmosphere. One of my favourite places to eat and drink. Happy hour is also fab! Even the location is great! Love love love.

We took our parents here for lunch and couldn't fault anything, the food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and professional. The bar and restaurant is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable...can't wait to return .

Ate here yesterday for the second time - had a lovely lunch on both occasions, excellent, friendly service, great food, freshly cooked and hot. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

The food was lovely. We were originally sat in the party room when half the restaurant was empty. We asked to move and that did happen, i asked for glass of the driest rose wine- the waitress said she didnt know anything about wine only cocktails- I asked if she could go and check but she didn't. I ordered a small glass and when tasting it it was disgusting and I said i didn't want it, she shrugged. I would have left then but my husband loves Mexican food so I decided to stay. Another waitress served us as the original obviously didn't want to. When we asked for the bill the wine was still included but on asking was quickly removed. When we left the original waitress looked very sheepish- I approached her and said that she wasn't to blame but the training had been and therefore the management had let her down. She just giggled. We will not be returning.

Food was poor. Pizza was tiny for £12 and tasted like something I could’ve got from the freezer in Tesco. The loaded fries were barely loaded, nor were they fries. The service was none existent. It felt like the music was being chosen to deliberately wind you up or get you to leave. I would seriously never ever consider dining here again. For the price I expected way more. I’d have expected more for half the price, frankly. Never again.

I cannot fault this place. The atmosphere is great and the food is always spot on. I am working in the area for some time at Retallack Resort & Spa and this is becoming one of my regular places to go when friends and family are visiting. Once you try the Ribs, You will be hooked.

We stayed for two nights and ate in the pub both nights during a busy half term. The food was lovely, drinks great and service excellent. Breakfast was all great with really friendly and personal service. With the residents discount on food it really was value for money for the 5 of us that stayed. Rooms were both clean and good sizes, the family room with the lounge space brilliant.

I Had a lovely birthday meal, when I turned up their was birthday banners and twinkly lights that the staff had arranged which was so so lovely and a free birthday shot :) the food was beautiful and the service was 10/10, was made to feel very welcome, love this place. My only issue was it was a cold in the restaurant it was a cloudy day and the door was wide open which it has been most times I've visited the restaurant might need to have heating on unless its a very hot day :) Other than that was very happy :)

Amazing food! We came for our wedding anniversary, we bought our two daughters and all four of us loved the food. Only small moan would be that it was cold with the door open!
