Unfortunately our family evening meal was disappointing as the service was very slow, mainly due to staffing levels being low. Staff tried hard however the stress on the staff eventually told on the service provided..
The Lookout Bar and Eatery – NewquayExcellent meal and very friendly service. The menu was very comprehensive with something for everyone. The only fail were the calamari which just didn’t work as they were baby squid and didn’t take to the batter. Everything else was delicious. Booking was easy online with confirmation by email. Personally I would have liked the waiting staff to have worn masks/visors - not just for us but for their own safety. Don’t know what their policy is on this. All in all I would really recommend Lemon Twist for a great meal.

Lemon Twist – FalmouthWe arrived on time and were shown straight to our table. The menu is already very limited and we were told there was no pizza nor something else which I can't remember. Service was leisurely no doubt because they are short staffed, and that did not bother us too much. The food was good but it is quite expensive for what it is. We have had cheaper and better meals in the general area. The main problem we encountered was yapping dogs which did have an impact on the enjoyment of our meal. Dogs should be banned from the main restaurant area. Would we go again - very unlikely.

Food was excellent and despite the challenges of staffing due to covid, was served in a timely manner. Will definitely return and recommend.

Lemon Twist – FalmouthWe arrived slightly early so the bar lady said for us to take a seat in the bar area which we duly did with our drinks. Within 5 minutes we were shown through to our table. The waitress apologised for the wait but I explained it hadn’t been long. Our drinks order was taken and we had them within 5 minutes. There were four of us in total, we chose 2 starters to share and then 3 pizzas and a beef chilli. The nachos were delicious so to was the bruschetta. We did wait a good 40 minutes for the main courses but we weren’t in a hurry and it was nice to have a bit of space in between starter and main. I did mention to the waitress she had seemed very busy and she said they were short staffed but at all times she was very apologetic and friendly. I’m sorry people have not given them good reviews but it’s the Managements fault not the waiter and waitresses. We had lovely food and great service so thank you.

Lemon Twist – FalmouthAmazing! The food, the service, the atmosphere and the quality of cocktails were all on point! We have been there a few times and the lovely staff were very accommodating (one time letting us have space for a park next to the table - did give advance notice though). The tapas is great and the vibe of the place just made for a really lovely time. Will deffo be going back again.
