Great kitchen bar bringing much needed modern vibe to Cottingham, along with its sister bar, Cassies across the road. Good drinks selection including cocktails. Make sure that you ask for a loyalty card. Great selection of English. Italian and Greek food. Generous portions. My Italian dish was quite spicy, this should be shown on the menu, as a lot of people would have found it too hot. Very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend booking as it is always busy, especially when they have a live band on Thursday and Saturdays. There is a DJ on Fridays. I really recommend this venue. 5 stars.

This is the 3rd time I have been here and every time the food has been amazing, I have tried 3 different things from the main menu and have been very impressed. The service has been great and the value is very good. Although it’s small inside the atmosphere is really nice and intimate, I will definitely return there is a lot more on the menu I want to try.

Absolutely gorgeous little find. The staff, the restaurant and the food was all 10/10! The staff helped us decorate to make it special for our birthday girl and also gave a free cocktail!! The food was the nicest food I’ve had for a long time and fresh and hot with quick service we will definitely return!!

Booked a table online but it wasn't necessary as it wasn't busy at all when we arrived. Nevertheless, we were greeted warmly by staff. We dined as a couple, ordered the chicken 'lovers paradise' burger and chicken gyros which was absolutely huge and could definitely be shared between 2 people. Took some cake away, white chocolate and cherry was the best one, but the sea salt caramel and st clements was also delicious. Thanks for having us. We will be back again in the future.

Reserved the window booth on line for myself and friends. Great food, freshly prepared, delicious, well presented and fantastic value for money. Busy lunchtime but service was good and served by friendly, Staff. Will definitely be back,

Had a booking for 7 women and a child (6), it was a Sunday afternoon. First visit for all of us and we were all impressed. The staff were friendly and provided good service. The food was lovely - the lasagne was amazing!! The portion sizes were very generous and we all enjoyed our choices. We will be visiting again.

First time coming here, recently just moved into cottingham. Wanted to do something with my son and got recommended to come here. Staff was amazing as well as the food, really good prices and I will be returning at somepoint with my friends.

Booked online and our table was waiting for us. The online booking form worked very well. Went for lunch and there was a good selection of meals. I had the goujons chips and mushy peas and it was a very high standard and very enjoyable. There is a nice atmosphere at Cassiels and the service was good. I found it to be excellent value for money and will be going back again.

This is my third visit and each time I've visited the food has been brilliant. Plenty of choice on the menu, will definitely be coming again. Staff attentive and polite.

Visited Cassiel Bar and Kitchen to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was excellent with plenty to choose from as well as value for money. The staff couldn't do more. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Nice, cosy atmosphere with such pleasant staff and service. Food was excellent with a good variety of type and quantity depending on one's wish. A disappointment, for me, was drinks since I prefer real ale but not available. Anyway, food compensated for having to put up with keg/bottled :). Good and will visit again.

My 3 sisters and I came for the first time on Tuesday evening for a birthday meal. We started with cocktails then delicious food - lamb spanaka, lemon feta chicken and mixed souvlaki. The staff were lovely. We will definitely be going again.
