Went last Thursday for our wedding anniversary . The restaurant has a great atmosphere and intimacy, and the staff were knowledgeable about the menu and explained each of the courses on the taster menu with enthusiasm. The Wyre Valley Asparagus , The Loch Fyne scallop and Cumbrian Lamb Rack were particular highlights. We chose a bottle of wine to accompany the food but there is a wine pairing available too. Well done to all involved

Had the afternoon. It exceeded our expectations. The savory selection, scones and deserts were incredible. Couldn't fault it and will definitely return in the future.

Sunday lunch has been booked in advance ages ago so I was really looking forward to the meal - and wow it was well worth the wait the place is small but has a lovely vibe to it I’ll definitely be going back

We went for Sunday lunch and the service and atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were knowledgable, helpful and attentive. The challenge was the consistency of the food, we all had roast beef, it was a bit like the 3 Bears, one was well done, the other was moo'ing and the otherwise just right - they only had one bottle of Malbec and had run out of two lagers. It's definitely worth another try, so we are going to book the Spring Taster Menu

Went for the new 7course taster menu and wine pairing. Food was unbelievable, its hard for us to recall better tasting food than this meal. Also my wife has an allergy and this was accomodated for an she was so reassured as they provided alternatives to the dishes for the ingredients she couldnt have and these were fully explained with each course. The service was excellent the food an wine were presented and explained with every course. Will definitely be returning here on many occasions and have recommended it to all my family and friends.

Lovely food can’t fault that but bit rushed between course as had banquet between two of us beer a bit over priced at £4 a bottle half pint and didn’t know 10% of with crosby loyalty card so total bill for 2 was £65 know difficult times for us all at moment to

Mother’s day Sunday lunch. Good quality and flavoursome food. The desserts were certainly a hit too. It’s nice to be able to see the care and attention taken plating up the food. Hope to return soon. Would recommend.

Relaxed atmosphere with beautifully presented food… also delicious. A lot of thought and care went in to these dishes.

Food was amazing, staff were so attentive, Andrew and Tom thank you for our lovely night. If I had to be critical I would maybe say the lights maybe needed to be a touch dimmer.

Don't dine here if your hungry. The food was excellent, however, only 1 bottle of pinot grigio available on Saturday night at 7 pm? If we hadn't ordered the cheeseboard we would have left feeling VERY hungry.

I do not expect to pay over £100 for a meal for two people which included one sparkling water, one spritzer and one glass of wine and leave the restaurant feeling hungry. Won’t be going again!
