17 of us had a delicious meal, as always. Food was delicious and was nice and hot. Service was excellent too with friendly and helpful staff. We weren't rushed off the table when we'd finished our meal also. 5* from me!

Second visit and didn’t disappoint. Service was excellent and all were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious again and so good to be offered so many gluten free options. Lovely atmosphere with mixed age range. Next time in Carlisle we will be back. Thank you.

Went late lunchtime on Saturday,. It was busy when we arrived, which is a good sign. It slowly cleared. Everything was fine-plenty of choice, good service. Our problem was that we would have liked a sweet but we had a train to catch.-that was our fault- we should have planned on travelling later.

First time we have eaten at La Mezzaluna but we will definitely be back. Good range of Italian dishes and all reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and attentive and service was good. Only one issue was that their non alcoholic drink menu was limited so maybe consider improving this area. Food was delicious

Excellent meal. Especially the specials. Bread and olives then 4 plates. All washed down with a bottle of wine £80. Will defo be back

Had a lovely family meal for my sons 40th birthday. Food was excellent and staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Not the 1st time we have been to this restaurant and certainly won't be the last. Would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a visit.

We have visited twice now - once on Wed 26/8/26, the second time on 12/9/26. We were blown away the first time - food was utterly sublime and great service. The second time was really poor. Three of us went and all three items arrived with 10 minutes between each. The first one was burnt but we decided to eat it. The second persons was ok at best, the third persons arrived after a further 10 mins and was the wrong toppings so had to go back. None of us ate at the same time and the food was just about ok, but not for the price. It’s a real shame that it can be so different in different days. The second one was on a Saturday and much busier. If we try it again. It will be only mid-week lunchtime as I don’t think they can manage the rush and still put out decent food

Met two friends in Carlisle, (one a "Birthday Girl"). Enjoyed an excellent lunch; good tapas, cava & extremely helpful, attentive staff. It was our first visit, but hope to be back soon.

Superb Best Italian in carlisle Well worth a visit

Absolutely amazing restaurant and easily our favourite place in Carlisle! ⭐️ The tapas are incredible, and the wood-fired pizzas are honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. Every dish is full of flavour and beautifully prepared. The staff are brilliant — so friendly, welcoming and attentive. We always feel so well looked after whenever we visit, which makes the whole experience even more special. A fantastic place with amazing food, wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and can’t wait for our next visit! ❤️
