We came to La Mezzaluna for a group booking of 17 people for my daughters 18th. I'd like to thank all of the staff for accommodating us. The food was beautiful and came out piping hot altogether. The service was so friendly and attentive, despite it being an extremely busy night, nothing at all was a problem. Thanks again.

Great food fantastic service good value for money

First visit to Carlisle, had a lovely evening meal at Sage and Vine. Starter of the bread and dips, then a pizza each, lots of food, very full at the end. Welcoming staff and lovely atmosphere within the restaurant. Will certainly be back when we return to Carlisle.

The wood fired pizza with a lovely glass of red really hit the spot. The wonderful friendly service made it even more enjoyable.

An excellent restaurant. Fabulous food with very friendly and efficient staff. Jane is an excellent hostess. Whilst visiting Carlisle went for a meal and also went the following evening again because it was so good. Can’t recommend it enough.

We were on a short first visit to Carlisle and had searched the Internet fof a lunch restaurant. We decided on Sage and Vine due to their being near station and sample menus which sounded wonderful. We were not disappointed. All the dishes, charcuterie board, small plates and pizza were made to order clearly from fresh ingredients. Everything was delicious ans the service very good but not overwhelming. J gave no hesitation in recommending Sage and Vine for a meal in Carlisle. Enjoy!

Came by train from Leeds to Carlisle on Wednesday 3rd June, and made booking for lunch with it being near the station and with only a couple of hours available before return trip. All 4 of us were very well looked after and our food was absolutely delicious and whilst it is very unlikely we would be returning due to distance away, I would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant to anyone

Went to Sage & Vine, with my husband, following a recommendation from a friend - I'm glad we went. The food was really tasty, the staff were lovely - welcoming & friendly - & the service was spot on. We both had 3 of the small plates & a pudding, all of which were delicious. We'll definitely be returning.
