The service was outstanding quick . Food was lovely.

Visited on Saturday evening. Huge selection of small plates, meat, fish & veg. We had a selection of each & a pizza to share which was delicious. Food & service both amazing. Lady who was front of house was amazing too & very knowledgeable about the dishes. Highly recommend trying the Tuscan Stew - it is truly outstanding!

This is a very friendly family run pub with a brilliant kitchen. We regularly stay at the Crossroads B&B on our way back from Scotland (same proprietors). As well as being very friendly and accommodating we really look forward to the high quality of the food both at the pub in the evening and at breakfast in the morning at the B&B. 10 out of 10 from us. Well worth a visit.

Went in for lunch with family, the food was amazing. Pizza as always where outstanding and the selection of tapas where ordered where simply delicious. Service was also A1 as usual. Highly recommend

Brilliant, great service, food and ambience

Wonderful visit to sage and Vine for a late Saturday lunch. Drinks, beware they are strong but very tasty. Food was excellent and service top notch. Will definitely be booking again.

Wonderful meal in ambient surroundings with attentive and efficient staff, great gluten free choice. We will be back!

this was my 4th visit and I invited 4 friends to join me,2 others had been before. Out of the 5 their was 1 complaint,he had a sea food pizza,which did not have enough rich tomato sauce,other than that excellent

Stayed in Carlisle for the night before heading to Scotland fancied Italian food google searched and found this place and wasn't disappointed the food was excellent even the other half had three course so to me told a thousand words even she enjoyed it had the filler steak for main melt in your mouth it's prob top 3 Italian restaurants I've been too

I come here with my sister who has a bad allergy to gluten and dairy and absolutely loved it. The staff are amazing with accommodating our allergies (replacing cows cheese with sheeps cheese!). We loved the gluten free cheesy (sheeps) garlic bread and gluten free pizza with sheep cheese - they are absolutely incredible! Every time my sister visits we are trying a new pizza each time and so far not being disappointed at all at the quality and taste! Definitely my favourite place to eat here in Carlisle as someone with allergies! Also absolutely love the aesthetics that is put into the food that is brought out...I may not be able to eat everything off the menu but I can definitely appreciate the aesthetics!

What a find! We were on a day trip Settle Carlisle and had researched somewhere to have lunch. Wonderful food, beautifully presented with cheerful helpful staff. Cannot recommend high enough! Wish we had one locally!
