Cosmina and the rest of the Sage & Vine team hosted me and 3 friends for dinner on Saturday evening. The new small plate dishes were delicious as was the wine and desserts (especially the pistachio ice cream). The food and drink is complemented incredibly well by the relaxed dining setup and extremely attentive hosting.

Had a lovely meal last Saturday with friends before going to concert. Everything was just great and went smoothly. The restaurant was buzzing, great atmosphere and very busy- nothing worse than having a meal in an empty restaurant. Great choice of food at good prices; meal was served hot and all of our party (7) had no complaints about the quality of their choices. Staff were very friendly and professional- they came across as actually enjoying serving customers which is fabulous. Well done Adriano’s we’ll be back.

Another excellent meal with a great atmosphere

Never, ever had a bad meal in all the years I’ve visited - truly the best Italian in Carlisle. The staff are always so lovely and attentive, the food is always delicious and fantastic value for money, and the restaurant itself is so cozy and intimate. Every time I go I always have the chocolate fudge cake for pudding - it is to die for!

As amazing as ever. This is one of the two best restaurants in Carlisle. The food speaks for itself, they have just got it perfect. The service is second to none, professional and friendly. We've been going for years and ha e never been disappointed, it just gets better

We have visited this restaurant on many occasions and it has on the past been excellent. However we were very disappointed this time. The food was overcooked and i had to ask for it to be remade. The fish board was smaller and considering it’s advertised as a shatter there were only 3 prawns so we had to share 1 ! The music was far too loud and the service average whereas previously the staff were very attentive.

Lovely atmosphere and really good food, especially the desert which was amazing. Highly recommend.

We dined there on a Thursday night, we had a voucher to use. The food was lovely, really fresh and tasty. Drinks were good too. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with the menu. The pizza was amazing!! We will be back. Thank you

Staying overnight nearby and found the highly rated Sage & Vine on Google Maps, so booked a table for 3 online. Made most welcome upon our arrival and selected 6 tapas dishes to share from the specials board and from the regular menu. Not disappointed, well presented and delicious. We then followed up with a "Local" pizza to share and again an excellent Italian style thin based pizza cooked in the wood fired oven. A very enjoyable evening and we promise to return.

We had a fantastic lunch at La Mezzaluna yesterday. Lovely food, very friendly and helpful staff. We didn't have to wait long for our starters and main courses. Can definitely recommend
