We have visited Grasmere many times but this is the first time eating at Lewis’ Bistro. We were pleasantly surprised. There was a cosy atmosphere and hearty meals. We will certainly be back.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe were very disappointed compared to previous visits, the staff had changed so maybe ownership also. Steak and lamb rump were overcooked and not of previous quality. I noticed that neighbouring tables received rose and white wine straight from the open wine shelf, not chilled at all .
