EXCEPTIONAL FOOD & GREAT SERVICE. A new addition to SoBo this restaurant just had to be tried. We went for a lunch and it exceeded all our expectations. Superb food and so many taste sensations. Even the vegetarian had to taste the meatballs -twice! Great food at a reasonable cost and generous sized portions. The hardest part was deciding which tapas plates to choose. The service was exactly as it should be. Attentive without hovering. Food came out as it was finished and this meant that we were able to start our meal quite soon. And then the food just kept coming. Perfect. It would have been even nicer if there were more busy tables. I am sure this will catch on quickly and become a regular place to visit. Highly recommended

The team was very welcoming and friendly. The menu provided a couple of unusual and tasty tapas dishes. Looking forward to returning.

We had a lovely time celebrating my son’s birthday at Tabby Terrace - he & my daughter loved it and fully intend to return! They were so happy to find they could buy fun cat-based items that were for sale, too. In quite a few of the other reviews, I notice criticisms about it being expensive. And it does cost more than your average cafe but I feel it’s justified as you are getting a unique experience which is far more special and memorable than anything a normal tearoom or coffee shop can offer. The kittens were very sweet, we only really saw Sushi but he more than made up for the others by absolutely spoiling us with attention. My only complaint would be that it was very cold, so after 90 minutes we were refrigerated! Don’t know if their heating had failed but on looking I couldn’t see any sign of a heater anywhere in the cafe…. Tabby Terrace was very popular when we visited - fully booked all day - and we hope people continue to flood in. With so many high street shops closing, it’s such a pleasure to see enterprising small businesses like this that offer something refreshingly different.

Great place - fab idea! Only 4 cats there but they were all very entertaining & playful. My family really enjoyed watching them. £2.50 entrance fee was reasonable considering another cat cafe I’ve been to charges £5 entrance! Food took a really long time to be served but was very nice when it eventually arrived. Cans of drinks are too overpriced at £3.40 though. The staff were friendly & very knowledgeable about the cats - overall a nice little cafe xx

Had a lovely lunch here on Saturday. Food was delicious and the cocktails were some of the best we’ve had. Staff were very friendly and we didn’t feel hurried. Will definitely go back.

Excellent service and food at the restaurant. The soup, mushroom , was delicious and the beef wellington was just as tasty.

We booked a table for my daughter as it was her birthday treat and she loves cats. So just the 3 of us. We knew about the £2.50 entry fee, but find it rather extortionate. We ordered lunch as it was 1pm, food was lovely, but over priced for what we had and £3.50 for a can of Fanta!!! We were the only ones in the cafe and it was freezing, we were offered one blanket between us. The cats didn’t really interact with us, apart from when food was brought and one jumped on the table. We were only there for 40 minutes as too cold to stay any longer.

A lovely space, friendly staff, good breakfast and, of course, beautiful cats. 4 darling kittens today: Sushi, Beans, Bubble and Squeak, whose cute antics were a joy to behold. Highly recommended for cat lovers.

A lovely welcome retreat where we found friendly smiling faces, good food and delicious wine. My only criticism was the music, a bit too loud for us. We will be back though to sample other delights from the menu and the wine list.

We had the greatest visit yesterday, food and drinks were all great. I don’t have any issues with paying the £2.50 entrance fee, which is advertised so shouldn’t come as a shock. It’s not just for the cats upkeep, it’s for all the other overheads too, it’s a small business after all. And ultimately we went to see the cats who were all super friendly and very sweet! We will definitely visit again.

Came on New Year’s Eve, great atmosphere, service was slightly slow but very busy night and new restaurant so understandable. The pork cheeks and pan con tomate was to die for! The lights were quite bright is my only critique, otherwise excellent visit and we will be back.
