Meal was OK, honey bee very run down. And lack of staff. But very helpful

To be honest was not impressed at all ordered our meals told staff at bar what we wanted changed the peas to baked beans on one meal our meals came out and there was the peas on the plate no baked bean my girlfriends mother’s meal came with no tomato as it should of so I said to waitress give her my tomato and when bring mine back with baked bean just replace my tomato simple .At this point the waitress picked the tomato up off my plate with her hands and placed it on my mother in laws plate we was horrified i said to waitress that what you just done was so wrong her reply was my hands are clean and she walk off tut tut disgusting service as shambles from the word go I was going to just leave but my girlfriends parents had traveled a distance to eat with us so bit my tongue. I strongly advise you to educate your staff and provide a good service or at least a reasonable standard of one . I was very disappointed as it used to be a very nice place

We had a table booked for three of us and were a little late arriving due to a poorly signposted diversion at roadworks. That said, we were made very welcome, and had a table at a window with superb views over the very extensive and picturesque grounds. The three of us chose different meals and it's fair to say that it would give us an overview of the quality of the produce used and the cooking. Suffice to say that we were all of us very happy with the food. The quality was very good, and cooked to perfection. All in all, with the excellent and friendly service, plus very reasonable prices, we consider it to be well worth the visit,and we will definitely go again. If there was a downside, it was that there weren't many folk there, but it was a Tuesday lunchtime, all said and done.

1 am sorry to say i invited two friends and told them how good the food was but I’m sorry to the mixed grill I had was cold my wife and my friend had all day breakfast the bacon was very poor quality they both took it home for the dog very poor meal Hugo Tarmey

None of us finished our meals, mine was full of grease and there was more cheese than anything else. Kids meals were awful, chicken nuggets felt slimy. Really disappointed, it was our first visit and will definitely be the last

I booked a table for my partners birthday, but very disappointed with the quality of the food, didn’t taste good at all, I had burnt garlic bread and pizza that tasted like it had come straight from the microwave very very disappointed.

Excellent lunch at the Honeybee on Saturday17th. Weather was hot so we sat outside under the canopy Wide ranging menu easily ordered via the app.and delivered with little delay. The drinks arrived with minutes of placing the order Staff were very friendly and helpful. Has always been worth the 80+ mile round trip to visit parents and take they for a meal at the Honeybee

Superb food and great service!

Our first visit since the start of the pandemic. Good procedures in place. Staff very friendly & helpful. Food was really good, steak cooked just how we asked it to be cooked. No complaints from us, will definitely visit again.

Had a lovely meal upgraded my wine on the meal deal . Three us ate there no complaints from us . Staff very friendly food very nice served hot.

We were not told about the 6 offer meals Just given normal menu Meal was just ok chicken melt .. the chicken was tough and the rest of the meal on the cool side just as the rest of my table was . The meal I had last time was not good but the rest of the party wanted to go. Last time I will be going now .. such a shame

I went last night with both daughters, I must say staff were very friendly and nothing to much trouble. Food was quick to arrive and was absolutely lovely, altho I had a side order of mixed salad and the lettuce looked a bit sorry for itself, but other than that everything was great, a bit disappointing tho that people were smoking right next to the doors, as it was wafting in to the eating area, but thankful this was as we were just waiting to pay, otherwise I would have said something, but will be back very soon,

Meal was really nice only issue was the no option to change a item my partner asked if could change the chicken breast in her meal for southern fried chicken strips and offered to pay extra and was told no

Went last night for daughters 19th table booked for 6.30 food arrived just before 8 didnt stay for pud had an 8 yo with us on a school night food was delish though and the young lad that waited on us deserves 10/10 he definitely has customer service down to a fine art x

We visited on Thursday 1 July a table of 6. After a long wait the order was taken. Of the 6 dishes chosen 3 were not available. Of the next 3 dishes chosen 2 were still not available. The waiter mentioned that Brakes had refused to deliver as their bill had not been paid. The meals eventually arrived. Not all the sauces requested were provided. All 4 steaks were inedible. My mother in law took hers home to make a stew with. We were offered replacements but given the wait for the meal already and mother in law is 89 we said no. My jacket potato had just been microwaved and was appalling. Tasted revolting and I was given margarine not even butter! No money was taken off the bill despite nearly all plates being cleared with most of the meals still on them. The service was appalling. We will never return here. Honeybee you should be ashamed.
