Great steaks cooked to perfection good presentation friendly staff will be back

Visited on a busy Saturday evening and were met with a friendly welcome. Once seated the different cuts of beef were shown and explained to us and our drinks arrived in a timely fashion. Our main waiter was Shiva and he made us feel very relaxed with his banter. Service was very good with nothing being rushed but efficient nonetheless. Three of our party had steaks (2 rib eyes and a zabuton) whilst the other one had the monkfish - all cooked to perfection. Our bill (which included a fair drop of wine, Peroni and Irish coffee) was just over £200 which we all felt was very fair. First time visit but certainly won't be our last.

We had an absolutely fantastic meal and the steaks were brilliant. It was my Husband's Birthday and we were offered shots. Will definitely be back again. Staff are so attentive and very helpful explaining about the different steaks Well Done all

Well worth trying, food lovely.

We really enjoyed our visit, the food was lovely, starters and desserts were something different (rice pudding is amazing). My husband had the sirloin and it was cooked to perfection and was beautiful and tender, I had the Zabouton steak which was delicious until the last part and it was a bit to tough and chewy, I’m not making a big deal about this as I decided to try this unusual cut.

Visited on Sunday, the food was fine but disappointing they don't offer a Sunday roast. It was odd that we were seated at a table that wasn't set - no glass or side plates, despite there being plenty of available tables. Slightly overpriced for offering and location. Steaks were brought out to show us and describe the cuts after we had ordered, generally seemed like they weren't ready for service despite the restaurant being open well before we arrived.

Was there 5th Aug with our friends have to say the steak was one of the best I have had and friends agreed, service was second to none aswell glad to have such a great restaurant near us !

WOW! The food was absolutely spectacular, every course was so delicious. Fantastic value for money and the service was lovely. It looks amazing too. I can’t recommend Parrilla highly enough and cannot wait to go back.

Was there last night for dinner ,steak was amazing . Staff very friendly nothing to much bother .friendly staff. Will definately be back .

Food was of a good standard, all the part was happy with what was served. The only issue was the actual service, as we were seated in the restaurant you would expect to be asked if you would like a drink and during the clearing of plate between courses to be asked if you would like a refill. There was staff about but they were mostly standing together in the corner chatting, very frustrating when you’re lucky if there was 6 tables in!

Excellent dinner, steak was cooked perfectly and staff were very kind and well organised. Will definitely go back!

We've enjoyed the sister Musselburgh restaurant in the past, so what a treat to have Parrilla open up so close to our home. We wish the team a lot of luck with this long-awaited venture. There is always a risk visiting a brand new restaurant which is still trying to figure out a new clientele served from a different kitchen. Well, there were no teething problems here - we score the Parrilla 5 out of 5 on all counts on our first week visit. What a great start! Don't try to change too much as you seem to be getting it right with menu choices and pricing. The new décor is nice too. It is always wonderful to see the meat on offer on a tray before me make our choices. More to come i am sure from our next visit.

Great atmosphere and incredible value for money, one of the best steaks in Edinburgh

Very nice day for our party if 13 well served by staff and meals very nice indeed. Would have been nice to be told that Car park was out of commission due to mini fairground. Disappointing to have my guests search surrounding residential streets for parking.

Four was lovely but the music from outside was so loud and of putting whilst having your food
