We were left standing supporting a very frail, elderly lady in an almost empty restaurant for an unacceptable amount of time before being seated. The portions were small. The meat in the steak pie was lean and tender but some sort of curry powder or cumin had been added which was not mentioned on the board or by the waitress. If I had wanted a curry I would have asked for that I certainly wouldn’t have selected this had I known. The vegetables were nice. The waitress was not personable (perhaps because the manager had had to come to seat us). I have had much better sticky toffee pudding which was overpriced at £6.25. The room was cold. Won’t be back.
