As usual everything was lovely
Ravelston House – EdinburghHave been to The Ravelston many times. Food and staff were excellent as always, however, we had to wait quite a while for our main courses. I would definitely come back again, however, perhaps the service could do with some improvement.

There were 10 in our party and from the moment we all arrived and where seated all drinks and meal orders were served as ordered .No delays between courses and food was served hot and delicious .Highly recommend the Ravelston for food and service.

The staff that were there were excellent but felt sorry for them as rushing about trying to give good service to all. Food was ok except for one order which was a breakfast roll, the food came in a burger bun, if they had said that they did not havd rolls we would have changed the order.

Ravelston House – EdinburghWent 27th June, we were the only ones in the restaurant so got drinks and ordered pretty quickly but then sat for over an hour before any food appeared, people coming in after us got their food before we did, sat for nearly 40 mins with empty plates before the 1 server that was working came over and asked if we wanted dessert and then we waited another 30 mins for them to come out all the while other people came ate and left before we had anything infront of us.

Ravelston House – EdinburghLovely venue. We had our wedding reception here 50years ago and returned for our Golden Wedding Lunch. Staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble and no-one could complain about the portion sizes. The food itself was superb and you were given time between courses. Would definitely recommend The Ravelston for anyone looking to book either an event or just a meal for two.
