Lovely meal. Great service. The only thing wrong was how cold the restaurant and bar was.

Went with a friend on 14 February for lunch. Restaurant was extremely busy - but seated immediately, drinks brought right away - order taken when drinks served by super friendly, courteous staff. Food came out within 10 minutes, piping hot and delicious. I love it here !

I’ve been coming here for many years and love it , the atmosphere is always so welcoming when I arrived with my friends yesterday it was busy but we where seated right away and tended to very well by the staff , the food was beautiful as always

My first time at the Ravelston house hotel for afternoon tea on my birthday Easy to get to by bus and how lovely the afternoon tea was Enough for two people with small sandwiches and lovely scone and plenty of delicious small cakes and a lovely pot of tea At £15 per person it's great value for money and a lovely treat Will definitely go back

Booked a table for Friday night and what a great meal it was. Service was faultless from attentive staff. Good was extremely tasty. Didn't have pudding as we were so full. Will be back again soon

Lovely food. Service slow. Took over 45min to get food. So only go if you've got plenty time!

The place was pretty quiet, however the food was really good and the service top notch!

Staff were friendly and helpful, food was great for our works Christmas lunch.

We booked lunch for 8 people on 30th December and we could not fault a thing. Service was excellent and food was lovely, although could have maybe been a bit hotter. But we were delighted with the quality of everything we ate and the lady who served us was great with my elderly mother in law.

Booked on line for dinner for 4 on Christmas eve at 8pm When we arrived there was no atmosphere at all and before we'd even sat down the waitress appeared and asked for our order as the chef was closing the kitchen in 5mins. We told her we'd not even had a look at the menu she came back a few minutes later and asked again if we were ready to order. We said no we were leaving and so we left without eating. Never booking to eat there again.

Sadly Christmas meal wasn’t as good as last years. Smaller portions and very slow service. Even our coffees were only half full!

Very tasty meals

We had pre booked and ordered Christmas lunch . The food was OK (could have been hotter) but the service was really really slow…45 minute wait for a starter! It felt like there were just not enough staff on in the kitchen. The staff kept saying thanks for your patience. .The restaurant wasn’t full so really surprised at this and wonder what it’ll be like as it gets busier.

Bit disappointed with our xmas lunch, food was ok but nothing to write home about for the price. Service was fine.
