Chicken on my roast was too peppery. I had a glass of Diet Coke / tasted like syrup

My partner and I had Sunday lunch at the Cheshire Yeoman yesterday. As always, everything was perfect, beautifully prepared with a fantastic selection of fresh vegetables and their cauliflower cheese is second to none. The beef was cooked to perfection and plenty of it. We've tried so many other good pubs and restaurants for Sunday lunch but nowhere is as good as the Cheshire Yeoman, which is why we always go back there. Thank you!

We had 2 course Sunday lunch and couldn’t fault it whatsoever. It came out hot and was delicious.

Booked a table and was very quiet when we got there. Got busier soon after and only one staff member on so felt sorry for him being so rushed off but the young chap did a great job. The food was absolutely fantastic, had the banquet for two and it was really nice. The lamb chops were soooo good. And it was all well priced as well. Will definitely be going back again. May have found my new favourite place to eat in the Port. Keep up the good work guys!

1st time that my wife and I have been here and I have to say the meal was excellent quality and very reasonably priced,the service from the waiter we had was excellent.The little extras like complimentary olives on the table and turkish delight when you ask for the bill set this aside from most eating establishments I would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant to everyone I know.we will definitely be returning very soon. we have been here a lot of times and had excellent meal and service off all the staff . Food is excellent and always very warm , we had the 3 course sunday lunch and every dish was excellent . All ingredients are fresh and top quality . If your passing i would reccomend calling in . We will be visiting there again soon

both had the pork belly , absolutely delicious and the sauce is so tastey , with lovely tastey mash and extra of your delicoius cauliflour cheese. Always look forward to going the Cheshire yoeman

Food was outstanding I had the lamb kebab which was perfectly cooked also the service was efficient, friendly and welcoming ,I will be recommending to family and friends

I and my family have enjoyed Sunday lunch and Friday evenings a few times and have very enjoyable meals. We see no reason why we shouldn’t carry on as we have done. We find the food , service and staff excellent. A very friendly atmosphere .

Rang to say we were going to be late, Rebecca was lovely about it told us to take our time! On arrival we were seen straight away and shown to our table. Rebecca went above and beyond for us my friend has a few food intolerances and she accommodated them all. The food was amazing and lots of it I actually took my left overs home for my hubby to try and he agreed it was beautiful Wine prices are not too expensive either The staff went above and beyond! Will definitely be back.

Had a fantastic Sunday Lunch on New Years Day, a great way to start the year! Food was really tasty, service spot on and a lovely atmosphere with a good selection of beers. This was the first time we have been in but we will definitely be returning.

I dropped my wife off at Cheshire oaks on Boxing Day and didn’t want to wait at the food outlets there as it was ridiculously busy. Googled and came across this gem of a place not too far from Cheshire Oaks. Great food and a bonus it’s halal. I Will visit again this time with my wife…

went for new years day, go fairly regular, must be getting fed up of us by now a great place for food and staff are freindly and courteous we both had the aberdeen angus roast beef which was gorgeous. come with seperate mixed veg and the best cauliflower cheese. worth going just for teh cauliflower cheese. we both had teh blondie with cream afterwards which was delicious , good portion size not mountainess like some places . people there are freindly aswell
