Best Hunters Chicken ever! Service excellent. Very cheerful staff Fantastic value Good choice of menu. Been coming here for many years and it just gets better! Highly recommend it.

We had Sunday lunch with our family and it was lovely , food was gorgeous and a great atmosphere . Then dinner yesterday with our son , again absolutely spot on . Great friendly staff lovely atmosphere. . Thank you

Visited last Friday evening (14th January 2022.) Great to see the pub & restaurant busy, buzzing with atmosphere. Had a meal in the restaurant with 2 girlfriends - 2 steaks cooked to perfection, 1 Seabass with prawns beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed. We did have a wait for our food however the service from staff as always was friendly and we were kept up to speed with when our food would be ready. Which led to more chatting over a new lovely Sauvignon Blanc. It was just nice to see a pub busy in January. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Thought the service and food was really good - nice atmosphere, good simple food at reasonable price. Particularly liked the Cauliflower Cheese! Service was good - there was just a delay getting table and giving order for food. Wouldn't matter if it was just adults (as we were pleasantly shown to a table to wait and have a drink) but with a baby you could do with swifter service.

Went for lunch last Friday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was great service was too and it was done with a smile. Would definitely recommend it

Myself, my husband and three good friends went for a meal at The Cheshire Yeoman Saturday 27th November. This was our last get together for 2021. The staff were very friendly and the service very good. The food was excellent and great value. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and tables spaced out regarding Covid conditions. We will definitely go there again and recommend to our family and friends.

Having only moved to Little Sutton 4 weeks ago, we had some friends coming to visit, so we called in here for Sunday lunch. There is such warm welcoming feel as soon as you walk in, and all the staff were very polite and friendly, and the service was excellent. In terms of food, this was absolutely first class for taste and quantity and well served and great value for money. Can't recommend enough and will definitely be going back for more, Thanks to all the staff for making it such a pleasurable experience

After attending a wake a few months ago at The Cheshire Yeoman, where the food was lovely, we decided to visit for Sunday lunch on 21.11.21. The presentation of the food was lovely, just meat and Yorkshire pudding and a very generous serving of red wine gravy on the plate, vegetables served in separate bowls to share. Duck fat roast potatoes were large and cooked to perfection. Homemade cauliflower cheese was smothered with lovely melted cheese and was divine. Vegetables cooked perfectly. Homemade Yorkshire pudding with the beef was huge and crisp and light. My mother in law had the chicken and stuffing and was the best she's had for a long time. I had the lamb which was nice. Husband had the beef. My daughter didn't fancy a Sunday roast so had the spicy chicken curry served half and half and with a naan, she said it was delicious. We had planned for two courses but could only fit in one. We were stuffed. The staff were friendly, professional and gave excellent service. Like another reviewer says we didn't feel rushed and the atmosphere was relaxed, although it did get busy. Husband was also impressed that they had Hobgoblin on draft and he had the homemade leek and potato soup which he said was delicious. All in all an excellent experience, much nicer food than other local pubs we've been visiting for years. I think we have a new favourite!

Food and service were excellent, we didn’t feel rushed to have our meal and leave like some restaurants we felt very relaxed in there and will be booking again.

Saturday evening meal, 13th November. Haven’t been here in a very, very long time so we thought we would give it a go. Glad we did. Absolutely fab food. Had the Lamb, cooked to perfection. Staff were so lovely, Couldn’t fault them, really friendly and so polite. You make a great team, well done. We will be back again soon.

Lovely Sunday roast with gluten free gravy. All produce was lovely just like the service. Difficult table next to us did nothing but complain but the staff where nothing but attentive. Hope they where not too difficult for the manageress that the head of the table pulled aside as we left. Definitely not deserved. Only reason I scored lower on atmosphere sorry.

went here for a meal on 10.10.2021 and had a lovely meal . All staff were very friendly and polite . Food was really nice and of good quality . i would recommend this pub to anyone and will visit there again soon

It's been many years since I last visited the Cheshire Yeoman, however I will be back very soon. Chosen to take Mum out for Sunday dinner, delicious! Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding were amazing. Roast potatoes and the veg spot on. Served by very friendly and polite staff. Nice pint of ale too! Wish I'd had room for a pudding but I was full. Thank you, we'll be back soon.

Booked for lunch and had a really nice time. Food was really good, had club sandwich and it was lovely very large portion. Was nice atmosphere and didn't have to wait long. Will definitely go again.
