I always have the fish and chips when I visit the restaurant. It has not let me down so far. Best fish (and definitely chips) by far. My friend on the other hand has something different and loved the halloumi salad.

Visited for lunch yesterday. Had chicken Caesar salad and my daughter had the halloumi salad. Both were really good. The walnuts in the halloumi salad especially good. Apparently they are bushed with egg white , salt and sugar then baked in the oven. They were light and crispy and absolutely delicious.

Fantastic selection of drinks, delicious starters and main courses. Loved the American Vibe, excellent service. Thanks for making our visit special.

Had a great lunch with a friend. Could not eat a thing for the rest of the day.

This is now my go to place, the food, service and the atmosphere are all excellent. It makes you feel like it’s a personal service just for you, and you’re never bothered, or hurried.

This is my favourite garden centre restaurant, lovely and airy and plenty of seating . My husband andI ate here for breakfast and it was soo delicious, I had the smashed avocado on toast with grilled tomatoes. As we were very impressed I took my mother for lunch yesterday and we were not disappointed. She had ham, egg and chips and I the halloumi salad, both meals thoroughly enjoyed. We then walked around the garden centre and returned for a pot of tea and cake. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good value for the high quality food.

My wife and I are regular diners at Barn Plants. The food is always excellent. The garden centre is a lovely setting with a choice of indoor or outdoor dining. The service is generally very good. Whilst it is a tad more expensive than some of the other garden centres in the area, the food quality still represents good value for the price I would recommend it.

We came for a lite lunch, should have looked on website for menu. Disappointed no sandwiches..

We had Sunday lunch, 4 adults and two small children. We sat in the covered outside area which was spacious and airy . Food was excellent two roast pork and two fish and chips for the adults. The children’s meals were a good size with a choice of veg or salad. Deserts were delicious with a fair range for the two gluten free guests. The only slight moan was the lack of gluten free Yorkshire puddings despite booking in advance Staff were busy but the relaxed atmosphere made waiting easy, staff were helpful and friendly at all times

Overall service good, mains lovely but hardly any desserts left on menu.

As always, a delicious roast with a good selection of vegetables. Service was great and altogether a very enjoyable lunch.

Very noisy service very slow had to ask 1/2 hr after sitting down for our order to be taken. Scones nice and good food., Like the garden centre but not sure if will continue to use the restaurant.,

Very disappointed with the choice of menu for lunches. The breakfast menu and food is fabulous but not so keen on the lunches

As always, food was to a high standard and delicious. Service was a bit faster than usual too! Lunch with two friends from Australia, currently visiting the UK. A thoroughly enjoyable time; can't wait to come again!

A hidden gem of a garden centre with a really lovely cafe thrown in. What more could you want for a day out with a friend? Staff friendly and welcoming. Good, delicious and hot food. Will be returning.
