I've eaten here many times before and without exception everything has always been fantastic. Unfortunately on this occasion I was a little disappointed. I ordered the Buddha bowl which I've had many times before and has always been delicious. On this occasion the crispy kale was not crispy and extremely difficult to chew and the chickpeas had an odd taste and crumbled to a powder in my mouth when I bit into them. I mentioned it to the waitress who apologised immediately and offered a choice of something different with no charge for the meal. This is definitely not a problem that would ever normally happen but for some reason on this day, something went a bit wrong. This will not stop me from visiting The Barn Cafe again as it was addressed immediately to my satisfaction and I know it was a one off. It's important to say that my friends wrap was delicious.

Service was great, staff friendly and helpful. Tasty lunch & slice of cake. Ordered from childrens menu for the first time and was disappointed- £5 for ham sandwich which was very small and nothing on the side other than few slices of cucumber + tomatoes. Better off ordering from the adult menu. Food itself great just thought the sandwich on the children's menu was overpriced

Heading up the A12, and looking for a lunch stop, we came across The Barn. So glad we didn’t go for the easy option of a Starbucks, this place was so much better. Despite being busy, the service was good, and the food was great. Shame we didn’t have room for any cake, as they looked amazing. Highly recommended. Best to book, as it does get busy.

We visited for a New Year’s Eve breakfast as a family. Outstanding service and food. Great choice and comfortable surroundings. Highly recommended

Sensational food and exceptional customer service. The owner/chef very obviously really cares about the food he serves and it shows. Great value for money too. We can’t wait to come back

Had breakfast on xmas eve with wife and our granddaughter. 1. Service was again amazing very attentive but not hanging over you 2. Food is probably the best breakfast you can get 3. The place is really clean and friendly This is an honest review and I would recommend this diner to all. They also have a vegan breakfast which was great for my granddaughter 10 out of 10 but would prefer to give 11

Busy Christmas Eve breakfast for three. Hot drinks arrived more promptly than usual followed by excellent breakfasts. Thank you. We'll be back!

Stoked has become my go to restaurant, the food, beer and atmosphere are all amazing, the fact it’s all vegan is a bonus. It’s the only vegan place my meat eating partner chooses to go to. Big portions of real BBQ food! Perfect :)

Had a lovely pre Christmas catch up with a friend and my daughter over breakfast . The veggie breakfast was just perfect , really tasty , light but filling , the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs again were perfect , but my choice , the American pancakes with Greek yogurt and fruit compote was just the best . This is my favourite breakfast . Apart from the excellent food , the service was as lovely as always too and the atmosphere very festive . Thank you

Another lovely visit to The Barn, lunch “with the girls” was a relaxing treat on what should have been a hectic pre-Christmas Saturday. It felt like a real indulgence to stop and take the time and The Barn was the perfect location. Friendly staff, varied menu and delicious food.

We visited for the first time yesterday (17.12). My son's choice, as a birthday treat. Our experience was fantastic. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. I'm vegetarian, and there were quite a few choices. Our waitress was lovely, and when our bill arrived, we were impressed at the value for money. Thank you Grumpy's, we'll definitely be back!

Went for Xmas Dinner at Stoked with my friend. Service was great. Attentive and polite . Also a sense of humour. Dinner was nice and could not fault it as such though One gripe the starter was not that warm but I still ate most of it . Would go gack .x

Went with 4 girlfriends for lunch. Received a friendly welcome and waitress was helpful and attentive. Food arrived quickly and was delicious...fresh ingredients in my Buddha bowl and friends omelette was light and fluffy. Reasonably priced so a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
