A superb lunch as always, great atmosphere, service was excellent.

The standard of food has always been very good over many years. Service is polite and helpful though at times can be a little slow. It is nice one can always rely on such high standards.

Visited recently, ordered Tart of the Day. Nice but pastry overcooked so hard, also too much unnecessary greenery on plate

We had an amazing evening at Grumpys Diner. The staff were helpful and friendly, half of our party were running late and the staff were able to postpone our reservation easily for us. When we arrived there were birthday decorations up which was a lovely surprise. The staff were helpful and supportive with our allergies and helped us find tasty alternatives. The food was amazing and everyone enjoyed it, we were the last in the restaurant as we were finishing our meal and didn’t feel like we needed to rush, the service was brilliant and I recommend 100%

We had a really good breakfast at the barn. Booking online was quick and easy. The cafe is in a lovely space and all staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The shop has a beautiful selection of home wares and plants. I would definitely return and recommend

I took my Mum for breakfast. The Barn Cafe is beautiful, we were met by a friendly assistant who sat us quickly with no fuss. We both had a barn breakfast which was amazing! The bacon and sausage were particularly good. Overall great food and great service!

Booked to come for Sunday lunch with my husband and three children at 1:45. Got there after having a 30 minute walk from home for there to be no roast dinners left. The other main hot meal was fish and chips and they’d ran out of that too. We were all so annoyed. We’d ordered drinks (hot chocolate tasted like hot water) so had to leave after that with empty bellies. Nightmare and felt sorry for the kids. Surely all the covers that are booked you should be able to accommodate a hot meal on a Sunday lunch time!

I went with two friends one of who is veggie but myself and another meat eater. I loved it! Delicious flavours, great portions and real value for money. Great decor inside and terrific beers. I was so full I didn’t eat dinner. Highly recommend!

Visited many times for Breakfasts and lunches with friends. Tad disappointed! First time ever yesterday we were asked to leave our table as they were very busy? On leaving there were numerous tables free and nobody queuing for a table

My first visit. Food was excellent and good value. Unfortunately I found it very noisy,(I wear a hearing aid), a result of how popular this place is. The service unfortunately was intermittent, again I suspect due to being so busy. Would visit again, but maybe for a later lunch, when it may be more relaxed.
