Good service, excellent menu choices, excellent food except the scones which are dry and tasteless.

Second time we have been here and the food was excellent. Will be one of our go to places for lunch .

Very nice place and the food is fabulous. Recommend the poached eggs on avocado toast. Best to book a table in advance as can get very busy

Went to lunch with friends and we all had the "Buddha Bowl" with various added ingredients. All were absolutely delicious, bursting with flavour with the perfect mix of colours, ingredients, textures and aromas. The look of the dishes was very7 appealing and every mouthful was a delight to the taste buds. Would certainly recommend this cafe. With regard to other comments regarding noise I can only say that you don't expect "Refined quiet fine dining" with tablecloths, carpets and curtains to absorb the noise if you visit a garden centre, unless you want the expensive bill to go with it! Having said that, the food and drinks ordered and the service were certainly of an extremely high standard and were certainly as good, if not better than a lot of 5* establishments I have frequented and amazing value for money. I've visited The barn for lunch on several occasions and have never been disappointed.

Excellent food great friendly service even when faced with IT issues thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast.

Nice atmosphere , good service always have the cheese scones which are excellent. Only downside it is noisy on occasions. At least thank goodness there isn’t music blaring out as like lots of places now.

Recently booked to come here for breakfast on Sunday. On arrival we were informed that they were not serving hot food as their internet was down, but we could have coffee and cake. Service was very slow (despite lots of staff and very few customers), cake was lovely but VERY expensive. As we left we saw hot food being served at lunchtime, but were not told when this changed. If we’d have been informed before arriving, we would have gone to a different cafe for breakfast, especially since we travelled from the town centre to here specifically. I’ve enjoyed breakfast here before but unfortunately this was quite a disappointing experience. I appreciate that the internet issue was beyond the control of staff, but the resulting situation was not particularly well handled…

We went to the restaurant yesterday and I have to say the whole experience was lovely . The food was excellent really tasty also the lemon and poppy seed cake was wonderful. This was the first time we have lunched there and it won’t be our last .

We booked online and turned up and was immediately told that the restaurant was short staffed so they had not realised we had booked and so things might take a bit longer. We chose to stay. Our choice. The restaurant was already busy. Our service from the two staff available was absolutely brilliant. Yes it took a little bit longer but we were not trying to make a short night of a meal out and it meant we had time for a proper chat. I wish I could remember the names of the brother and sister team that made sure that them being short staffed did not harm our night out Go and enjoy their food and the surroundings cos their service when up against it was exceptional. 5 stars. Very surprised! Not a typical garden center menu. It was TASTY. Definitely going again.

It was our first time at The Barn and the food was very good for three of us and the person(the waitress told us that there was no avocado for that dish which was a shame as it need it! But apart from that all good and will be going back.

Our third visit, this time to celebrate a friend's birthday. Food and service very good as was the variety of luncheon menus. Pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Can be a little noisy at times making conversation a little difficult.

My ‘go-to’ place for meeting friends for a coffee, breakfast or lunch. The food is always amazing, the atmosphere relaxed and the staff are friendly and attentive.

Met friends and always pre-book a table. Well cooked full English breakfast which we all enjoyed where the staff are friendly, very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Easy to book, food very good with excellent service

A lovely welcome, food very good, the atmosphere was very calm and gentle. The staff were polite, We had a very relaxing afternoon.

My friend and I had a Sunday Roast each on Sunday and were realy impressed with the standard of your food. It was perfectly cooked and tasted delecious. Full marks.
