My daughter as I have a digestive condition, it was so yummy , fresh , obviously locally sourced, & freshly cooked , we will definitely be back for breakfast We also bought some delicious cake for later and wow absolutely gorgeous, so moist , I got the triple layer cake would highly recommend, can’t wait for our next visit barn plants is my favourite nursery, it has been since I moved to Colchester 4 years ago and am yet to find one more friendly, I love its family run and everyone is so helpful, & knowledgeable, wish I could give this place 10 stars

The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterI often bring my wheelchair bound Mum here to shop and enjoy lunch. Never Less than excellent . Plants are very healthy and a good selection. Bird food is often purchased. Even home wares, clothes and cards will tempt us. However lunch in the restaurant is a highlight. Short menu, but everything is delicious and we always say that we feel we’ve had great value for money. Coffee is particularly good, as are the wide selection of cakes. Highly recommended
