Food is vile and cooked by an unqualified chef and the owner, drinks are severely limited and their staff is all under 18! Shocking service, food, drinks and decor - hopefully this shuts down as soon as possible and leave this lovely village.

Grumpys Diner – Southend5 of us enjoyed dishes from the new menu for lunch yesterday. The Buddha bowl with added feta and chicken was delishhhhhhh. My friends had it with be hot salmon. Service was great despite being busy. Another thoroughly enjoyable get together was had at The Barn

The environment was clean and pleasant, the food was good, service was fine (but might have felt a little slow if you were in a hurry, which we were not) and the price was reasonable for the quality of food. We had booked a table, and were pleased that we had because they were busy, but we were still offered a choice of inside or outside. Despite the cafe being busy, we did not feel at all rushed to vacate our table when we had finished eating. Overall a nice experience and we will definitely return.

Too much as a starter and would make a great main course. Mains- all had different meals. Only one of us could manage the portions. All nicely cooked. To full for deserts bar one of us who managed a plain ice cream. overall excellent, Service was fast. Recomended.
