Fabulous Sunday lunch, great friendly welcoming staff, will definitely return.
The Clifton Arms At Warton – FreckletonMy second meal at the Birley Arms and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great to see some really interesting specials on the go in addition to the extensive main menu. I had the Lancashire Cheese Tartlet sat in a veloute and for main a trio of duck – mallard, teal and widgeon. And for just £15.95 that’s ridiculously good value. If you’ve not been here yet, it’s a must-try.
Birley Arms Inn and Gastro Pub – FreckletonReally lovely meal at Lorenzos with my friends. Food was excellent and the service very professional!
Excellent meal at the Birley Arms on Friday night. Loved the haggis bon bon starter and my halibut on ravioli was spot on. My partner was also very satisfied too! Wine and Black Sheep beer good too. Will return and probably have fish again as its the chefs speciality.
Birley Arms Inn and Gastro Pub – FreckletonTook my mother out for dinner here on Wednesday evening and we were both so impressed with the food, excellent service and relaxed atmosphere. We had 2 courses from the Market Menu - Pheasant (the best I have ever tasted) followed by a chocolate fondant pudding. Both courses were amazing and great value. We will certainly be back - thank you!
Birley Arms Inn and Gastro Pub – FreckletonFood is fantastic, I'vw found my new Sunday lunch place Xx
Birley Arms Inn and Gastro Pub – FreckletonVisited here on my Birthday along with my family and had a wonderful meal. I love the new look menu - the Sunday lunch offer is great value for money too. 3 courses of this quality for under £20 is fantastic. Would highly recommend this place.
Birley Arms Inn and Gastro Pub – FreckletonTried this chippy and would certainly recommend it. Freshly cooked fish and chips, piping hot and chicken curry and chips to die for. Extremely friend staff couldn't do enough for us. Defiantly going again
Barnacle Bills – Freckletonit's old fashioned and dated but I love Rigbys Farmhouse all the same.
Rigbys Farmhouse Restaurant – FreckletonCelebrated my 60th Saturday 31st at Rigbys we had combination of shrimps, garlic mushrooms, chicken gouzons mains were sirloin and mixed grills every item was brilliantly cooked to your liking and the staff were really friendly hosts!Thoroughly recommend RIgbys.
Rigbys Farmhouse Restaurant – FreckletonWhat has happened to this lovely pub? Have been twice in the last month. White wine not in the chiller, I was asked if I wanted ice in it?? Second visit went for a lunch meal, ordered 2 drinks and then asked for a menu, was told no food being served. 1215 asked for a sandwich, none. Asked for 2 packets of crisps, only had one left. What a disgrace.
Coach and Horses – FreckletonMy wife and I were very impressed with Lorenzo's last night. Drinks in the bar area whilst ordering from the menu which is excellent. We had a mixed Cicchetti shared starter, an Italian cassoulet,, chicken Mafiosa, a stunning pavlova to share and some tip top sherry cask aged Grappe to top it all off! The service was professional and my wife commented that she felt like she was in Italy. We really liked the fact that the restaurant is not a typical Italian that are everywhere locally. It's a family business and that shows in the care and attention to detail. Highly recommended.
A quick warning not to go to the Coach and Horses in the hope of ordering food. The cook only prepares food on an ad hoc basis at times to suit himself despite the times quoted on all the advertising.
Coach and Horses – FreckletonThe most insensitive place I have ever had the displeasure to be near. On the weekend of the 70th anniversary of the Freckleton air disaster in which 38 infant children 2 teachers and 7 civilians died also killed was the crew of the aircraft and airmen on the ground !! The Coach and Horses have a noisy loud band playing outside untuned heavy rock music !! That loud that even the congregation could not hear the service properly. Many many friends relatives and people coming to pay their respects from all over the globe were disgusted that the tranquility of the grave yard and the solitude of the memorial grounds was devastated by the loud tuneless noise. The landlord / landlady should hang their heads in absolute shame !!! I think the establishment should apologise profusely and make a donation to the memorial fund !! I will be boycotting the place now for the rest of my life !!
Coach and Horses – FreckletonExcellent food Good value .Will go again.
wonderful service and quality food. The service was seamless, the food delicious. We will be back!
We have visited Raj numerous times always excellent service food great , nice friendly atmosphere. Will be returning shortly .
The Raj – FreckletonThis is the 3rd time this has happened from this takeaway whilst the orders on all occasions are hit and miss, its clear there are some communication issues between the person who takes the order and the persons that cook an deliver the order. As what we ordered was missing items on occasions or totally the wrong order, when you point this out when you ring back you get a very cold response verging on the side of obnoxiousness. Word of warning check your order before the delivery driver leaves.
