Excellent service, the food was good. I recommend the place

My friends and I visited yesterday for lunch. A corner table near the window had been reserved for us, in a cosy dining room, which is beautifully decorated and the radiators were on full! We were waited on by a friendly chap , so no running backwards and forwards. Our delicious meals arrived piping hot and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend . Thank you

Everything is always spot on. From the egg and chips girls, to the burger boys, and all inbetween. It is our "go to" place to eat, we don't need an alternative. Lovely staff, lovely food and quiet enough to have a conversation.

Really enjoyed out visit, food was great and was well looked considering how busy they were. Appreciated fitting an extra couple of people in from the original booking. Highly recommend.

A very pleasant experience. I drove 20 miles to meet friends. Great food, nice fresh veg. Lovely ambience and good service. It's a lovely pub with oak panelling and just as a pub should be. Definitely making another visit !

Food was absolutely fantastic. Service for starters was a bit long but in their defence every single table was full so was a very busy night. Staff couldn't be more helpful.

Had a great family birthday meal during Chrimbo Limbo. Very friendly staff and good food with lots of choice on the menu. Definitely would return.

Have visited a few times an d are always impressed with the quality of food and the friendly service. We ordered plaice, (which is usually disappointingly small at other restaurants) and we were served the biggest plaice we have had in years. It was delicious, as were the other meals our friends ordered. Thank you to the friendly staff for making us feel welcome.

The quality of the food exceeds all expectations in this kitchen and bar. This is one of the few places we have been to lately that makes you want to return again and again. The meals are consistently delicious. The young man in charge is absolutely excellent, and so are the staff. They work very hard to ensure that the customers are welcomed and get what they want... as it should be!

Lovely lunch for 6 of us (& a Labrador). 19 is a lovely vend with excellent food & service. I had gammon yesterday which was a nice healthy portion & beautifully cooked. Highly recommended.
