Went last Saturday for dinner, as always excellent service and food. It was lovely to see how busy it was for mid January, will be back soon to try the Chef’s set menu.

I booked my partner and myself in for the Chefs set 4 course menu. It was Friday night and the place was very busy. We were delayed in starting our meal but it was worth the wait. We had focaccia with roasted onion butter, pulled ham croquet, chicken with mini chicken thigh pie, potato and rich jous followed by a sticky toffee pud to finish. All of the courses were great and this is the best meal I've had in Glossop. The only minus was waiting to pay but understandable due to two large party bookings eating at the same time.

We had a fantastic meal and great time at The Two Hares. The service was outstanding and the found equally so. We’ll definitely be returning very soon!

First time here and didn't know what to expect. We were not disappointed. Delightful staff who were very welcoming and knowledgeable about their food and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed the Chefs Choice. Perfect portions, beautifully served and well balanced. Good value for money. Only marked this a 4/5 as drinks were perhaps on the top side. Service was timely, no delay, no rush. My only comment would be a request to serve a teapot of tea rather than a bag in a cup please. Very pleased to have discovered this little gem and hope to return before long.

Great food and atmosphere as always on a cold and snowy evening in January. Chef’s choice menu was excellent and superb value for money. We will be back soon. Thank you!

As usual, we loved our meal. The staff are friendly and helpful and add to a really enjoyable dining experience.

Would highly recommend The Two Hares for great food at any time of the day. The 24 hour beef ragu was amazing. I had this as a main course. The crumpets and mushroom pate were perfect. The waiting staff were friendly and welcoming and were happy to explain the menu. We will definitely return. I would add that it is very reasonably priced. There is a grest choice of cocktails.

We had our Christmas works night out and had dinner at the Two Hares. The food was delicious, the service was great with attentive and friendly staff and a warm welcome. We will definitely be back, Thank you

Never ever disappointed really lucky to have this place in Glossop!

Beautiful setting and the food was excellent — fresh, flavourful, and well presented. The only drawback was the service, which felt rushed and didn’t allow enough time to enjoy the meal. Overall, a great spot, but after looking forward to a relaxing meal we left a little disappointed.

We enjoyed a lovely roast dinner on Sunday, the food was outstanding and service amazing. The staff were very friendly and we had a fabulous time, I would highly recommend it. Thank you.

Visited yesterday with family, 8 people who really enjoyed the fantastic food, absolutely brilliant, attentive service and a great drinks selection. We were looked after from the minute we walked through the door. Great venue!!

We went on Saturday evening. Service and food excellent. The only criticism that we had, and we did mention at the time, was the restaurant was very cold, both tables either side said the same. They did try turning on the radiator and also the heating thermostat but unfortunately nothing happened. Would defiantly like to return but maybe when warmer. This is why I've only given a 2 for the atmosphere unfortunately.
