It was certainly an experience from start to finish! I ordered the Pimms & Lemonade off the cocktails menu during happy hour but was only brought 1. When I asked for the other 1 I was then brought 2. This was pointed out & I was told the extra 1 would be taken off the bill. Then one of the party had to chase for her drink & she wasn't brought the correct soft drink but we didn't say anything. We then ordered our main courses. One of the party asked if she could change the chips on her dish to the truffle chips but ended up with both. I ordered the duck breast off the specials menu but was brought a carbonate. The error was obviously pointed out. I was then asked did I want the duck legs or the duck breast. I again said the duck breast & was then told this would take 45 minutes. By this time my party had almost finished their main courses. I told them I wasn't going to wait that long so changed my order to sea bass. By the time this arrived my party had all finished their meals. Three of us ordered desserts & the panacotta was served on a warm plate. We were then offered a free round of drinks but we asked if we could have a voucher instead but were told this couldn't be done but the cost of the sea bass would be taken off the bill. We asked for the bill & had to wait & chase for it. When it came the deposit hadn't been taken off so it had to be redone. The bill then had to be redone again because the 1 Pimms & Lemonade drink hadn't been cancelled as we were told either. All in all it was most certainly an experience which I wouldn't want to go through again.
