We went there for dinner and it was awesome ! The service was so good and the italian food was excellent. So nice eating there, and pretty sure that I will be back again !

Went here for my 30th birthday. The service and food were fantastic! Even got a free bottle on the house which was a nice touch. Would highly recommend. We will be back soon!

Great welcome, great food, great service, nothing too much trouble.

Excellent meal in the outdoor seating area with blankets and patio heater.. No time limit on the table at lunchtime which was lovely Food was lovely as was the cocktails Service very good

We enjoyed a wonderful outdoor lunch! Delicious prawns and squid to start followed by an amazing lamb cutlet dish and a glorious white pizza. Perfectly set up to meet Covid restrictions with blankets and heaters. Lovely friendly staff too.

A real locals pub, but with rooms and good food too!

This pub was down in the doldrums for a long time it has raised its game and is deservedly much more popular than before but it should keep its eye on the ball. I recently ordered the vegetarian cannelloni. In the past I have been offered an unnecessary amount of potatoes plus an acceptable amount of vegetables to accompany my meal but on the most recent visit I was offered an over large portion of cannelloni with no potatoes, vegetables or salad. Hence no contrast of texture or flavour to the meal so not a pleasing experience. Needless to say I will not be visiting again. (They only offer two veg dishes and the other is often not on the menu) I hate to write a review that is other than positive but think I should warn others what they can expect.

enjoyed a pre-booked family get together for 40. the quality of food and service was excellent and catered for with ease. will use again, this was the overall opinion of the party.

Excellent food

Myself and three friends one who knew where the pub was arrived to the pub at noon on mothers day, even though they were busy the landlord gave us a great welcome so we stayed for our lunch which was great and not ale but Guinness. Was a great visit thank you

Very welcoming and homely restaurant. The food and house wine were very good. All the usual Greek favourite dishes. Being a visitor to Gloucester and not knowing anywhere good to eat, I couldn't fault it and would recommend.

Great pub.village type atmosphere,terrific food ,value for money,and if you like real ales then this is the biz.

Great fresh food, good vegetarian choice!

Excellent traditional Sunday lunches, well cooked, with cheerful efficient service. Good selection of other meals and puddings. Definitely worth a visit.
