Absolutely amazing, lovely food, great service and AMAZING value for money.

Excellent as always

Great dining experience with friends last night at The Miners. Gorgeous meal, friendly efficient staff and really good value for money. We enjoy a meal here on a regular basis and it is always of a very high standard. Highly recommended.

Pro's: It's sometime since we last visited The Masons Arms. It seems that there has been a change in the management for the better. The food is now HOT, the portions well balanced and beautifully presented. I had Roast Beef which was perfectly cooked to my taste, My wife had the Prawn Curry which she aid was very tasty and well cooked and presented. The two members of staff that served us were cheerful and efficient. Cons: Just one. There was a differential on the pricing of the Prawn Curry, what appeared on the bill was more than what showed on the menu. When my wife mentioned it apparently there was a typo and was soon rectified.

Great place to eat. Food is very nice, although quite pricey. The service is spot on, the staff could not be any more helpful, they really look after you well. If I could at the right price I would eat there every month.

Great food , But did find the staff a little over tentive, also the table for two are to close to others and on the small side .

Had a very nice meal here for our first visit. Staff very quick & efficient with the drinks order & then the food although me & my wife were a little slow. Food was excellent particularly the Thai fish cake which I would recommend to anyone who likes Asian quisine. Chilli nachos were also very tasty for a starter although my wife said it would have been enough for two. Thai chicken curry was also very good , as was my wife’s burger. Overall a very positive dining experience which I am sure we will repeat in the near future. Well done to all at the Masons Arms.

We had a lovely "pot luck" meal on Monday evening. The food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The place was full and I now know why.. Despite the number of customers the service was quick, efficient and friendly. I am telling all my friends and we will be back!

My partner and I both had steak. We both had them cooked exactly how we wanted. The whole meal was absolutely delicious and the peppercorn sauce was the best I've ever tasted. The whole place has a very relaxed feel to it. We will definitely be returning.

E collect company. Fabulousfood. A busy Monday. We had drinks starters and mains.excellent suet pudding, haddock and burger. Didn't have dessert as waitress didn't come back with menus. Not sure we could have fitted one in, but the sticky toffee pudding sounded divine.

The Miners was recommended for Sunday roast by my daughter who had recently eaten there with a group of friends. It did not disappoint. It was just delicious and beautiful presented and the service was very good. Plenty of helpful staff on hand . We chose the beef. For those who prefer rare I guess you might need to ask for that . Vegetable selection was all good and cooking just right. I would definitely go again !! Was great not to be disappointed as is so often the case currently. Good price , good quality.

Best Sunday Lunch we have had for a long time.

Very nice atmosphere with friendly efficient staff.Lunchtime menu offered a good choice & the quality was excellent.

We had a Sunday Roast at the Masons Arms last weekend. Service was excellent and the food was of a good quality. Portion sizes were very good . The menu selection for Sunday lunch was very good. I think the price paid for lunch for pretty good value for money.
