We had our wedding reception here on the 17th February 2023. The food was fantastic, the staff were amazing before and during our wedding. Using the conservatory we had our own space and were allowed to decorate the room to suit us. Would highly recommend to anybody thinking of an intimate wedding or other party event.

Wye Valley Catering – ColefordI stayed at the Miners in Sling for a business trip and arrived on the Monday and reserved a table on the recommendation as its called POT LUCK night when the full menu is available with a 50% discount and when its gone its gone so I booked 5pm to make sure i had a choice and when i came down I couldnt believe the dining room was almost full and I managed to try the Amazing Pate for starter and sourdough bread and then the BEST FISH & CHIPS ive had in a pub a real fillet of haddock no skin on and homemade chips & Minty Mushy peas with homemade TarTar sauce all presented on hot plates it was AMAZING and well worth the full price let alone half price. If your in the area and passing through on Thurs to Sun they are open from 12 till 9pm.

You get a small joint of meat which is served on a board ready for you to slice with plenty of vegetables, all round great value. I am sure we will visit again…. and again.

And this place is right up there with the best. Seriously good. I wasn’t drinking as was driving but the wine list is excellent and everything about the place wA spot on.
