Enjoyed the food and the place

Fabulous food. Although Yorkshire Pudding very disappointing. We went on a Sunday lunch time and very busy. Staff were tense and seemed rushed off their feet which put a bit of a damper on our visit. We will go back but maybe at a less busy time and hopefully feel more relaxed.

Limited menu, bangers & mash or burger & fries. Neither served with veg or salad. Having said that, the food is cooked nicely and the service is very good. In a nice setting, but tables are very close together so feels a little cramped. Found it a bit expensive, especially with the 10% service charge.

Great Sunday roast - really recommend even though service a bit chaotic. Be nice to have home made Yorkshire pud rather than frozen

Fabulous Sunday lunch, loved the carve your own meat concept. The pork and beef were both outstanding. We will definitely go back.

It was our first time there . The food was the best Italian food I've had for years . The service was fantastic and the staff couldn't do to much for you . Will certainly be going back and recommending to friends and family

Once again, outstanding service and excellent food. The fish and chips were delicious. Flaky haddock in the lightest crispy batter, served with a lovely tartar sauce, mushy peas and curry sauce, all made in house. Our starter of liver pate, which is also made by the chef, was also brilliant, served with toasted brioche and homemade onion marmalade. Best fish and chips in Gloucester. All round excellent meal. Thank you to all the staff.

Lovely meal, lovely staff, choice of more nonalcoholic beers would be appreciated

I went for a meal here on Thursday and it was the worst meal I’ve had here which was really disappointing! I had the beef ragu pasta but there wasn’t much beef it was all fat and the sauce was really watery and quite bland! By time I’d picked the small amount of meat away from the fat my pasta was lukewarm! The service also was not great, no one asked how our food was and the waitress was too busy talking to other people whilst we were trying to pay our bill. Unfortunately I won’t be rushing back. The live music was also too loud so we left

Got an email inviting me to review my lunch out with my brother and daughters from the day before, when I was sat back in the Masons for lunch that day! Fabulous atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food with a great lunch deal menu too. Will be returning (again!)
