The food is always wonderful here and the value for money especially on their Monday night specials board is fab. Unfortunately I left disappointed due to the lack of catering to food allergies. I am lactose intolerant and asked for any vegan alternatives to the ice cream they had plated with the toffee pudding, I could see they had sorbet on the menu so that would of been great. Sadly they refused to do so. Given that having health conditions like ibs, Ibd, chrones etc is so common amongst people, I’d recommend that the restaurant be a little more understanding. I paid the same price for a desert without the accompaniment of the ice cream which may seem small in light of things but now I don’t feel comfortable returning.

6 of us went for lunch on a Monday. We have been several times, but everything about our experience was once again, top notch. The service was attentive, the food! well the food was just simply delicious. The pizzas are spectacular-not something we eat often at all, but their pizzas are too good!. The sea bream was melt in your mouth with a puttanesca sauce that was properly home made! The ambiance is pleasant and easy to relax into. Really great place. Highly recommended!

Went in for Sunday lunch. The food was lovely and the staff were delightful and attentive to me and my family. Although it was busy and they did not have some of the menu items available they did offer other sides free to compensate which was kind. Definitely will come back again.

We had sunday lunch and it was absolutely brilliant - starters arrived swiftly, mains where hot and as for dessert well that was amazing. We can thoroughly recommended here and i found it to be the best sunday lunch around.

5 of us had a lovely Sunday lunch yesterday. We've been to The Mason Arms a few times and always find the food and service excellent. This was the first time for Sunday lunch and it didn't disappoint! The portion sizes were excellent with amazing Yorkshire puddings. We all had different main courses and they were all lovely. Starters and Puddings excellent too! My husband is Gluten Free and they always manage well, with excellent choices / adaptions. We've booked again for next month!

This is a strange one - we have been coming to The Croft for years and years and I have many fond memories. In fact when it catered for 10 of us on the weekend to celebrate my 50th it was a cut above the other restaurant we went to in Bourton. However that was a long time ago and it is not the same place. In brief - the food was fine but never worth £83 for two of us where we shared a desert and had bread as a starter bottle of wine notwithstanding. That is just silly expensive. The restaurant itself was just off cold and I wish I had had a thicker jumper. The service was okay but the guy who I guess is in charge needs to take his paperwork elsewhere and not busy himself doing it in front of the diners. That was a bit crass and unnecessary. Sorry but I would love this place to be as awesome as it used to be. It just isn’t now. Overpriced and under delivering. A firm 3/5 all the way save the young member of staff who served us and gave it a really good go.

Excellent as always

Had a lovely meal last night celebrating my sons birthday. Great food and friendly staff. Only issue I had was that I ordered Meatballs and Spaghetti, the meatballs were very tasty but only three, think there should be at least 5 for the price. Thank you.

Faultless meal and service for a birthday meal for 5 and a toddler. From the welcoming decor and spacious placing of tables to the super friendly staff. The food was fab (and I'm a right fussy so and so!) - my chicken kiev was the best I've ever had. The puddings were amazing. Will definitely be back.

Had a cracking meal here with the wife. Non pretentious food cooked really well at a sensible price. Couldn't ask for any more.

The staff were very accommodating considering the difficulties they were given They were friendly and helpful. The issues were no draught bitter or bottles, and were then told there was no chicken dishes available on the menu .which restrict it to about half the menu. They also ran out of milk for coffee.. and this was Saturday evening .. Apart from the above.. the meal we had was good quality and enjoyed it We will return again but hope to have a bigger menu to choose from
