Went for lunch on parteners birthday. Still the same good food good service from a very friendly staff. Will be back again.

Great pre-match meal with my wife and friends. Great atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and lovely food. Really appreciated that it was no problem for them when we were delayed by 30mins from our booking time. Would recommend and book again for a future stay in Gloucester.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and exceptional staff

Spent a lovely evening with friends on Saturday at the The Miners, Sling. All courses were outstanding quality and an excellent value for money. Menu choices were limited but understandable in the current climate, but every course that came out looked lovely. We were well looked after during the evening. Thank you.

1st visit here for my 50th birthday service was great food was fantastic best steak I've had in a long time. Not only that was given 2 complimentary drinks also because it was my birthday. Will definitely be going here again .

We booked for a late dinner on Wednesday evening. As always, great service, great food, great atmosphere. The staff always make visiting this restaurant a real pleasure and the rigatoni con ragu was delicious.

Oh my goodness! I have not stopped thinking about our mouthwatering Sunday Lunch experience! Every time we have eaten here we have had food that our mouths remember. They so deserve a Michelin star as it is a continuous pleasure for our tastebuds no matter when we eat. ALWAYS a meal that we remember in a way that outstrips other restaurants far and wide!

My husband recommended the Miners for a meal out as he had heard some great things about the place. Well he was not wrong. The food and service was excellent! Prices are great to, especially for the excellent standard of food you get. I also have a dairy intolerance and have lost confidence in eating out but was made to feel very catered for. The staff were very aware of intolerance/allergies which gave me great confidence, really enjoyed our meals. Will be coming back very soon!

Excellent Sunday lunch for four. The roast beef was exceptional but, sadly, the roast pork was a little dry even though the crackling was super.
