Been to this restaurant before as it is my sons favourite pizza place. As usual the food was outstanding. On a busy Friday night the service was impeccable and it is reasonably priced. My only negative this time was the last 2 times we got a shot of limoncello at the end with the bill, and this time we didn’t get offered it, which was a shame.

Fabulous location and great space outside which could be turned into a lovely outdoor seating area with improved toilets facilities The staff were very friendly and obviously hard working, I’m sure they must get a lot of the backlash from customers. The food was absolutely terrible, starter pint size prawns was literally frozen prawns in a glass with brown lettuce in the bottom of glass, very bad. The main, sweet potato and cauliflower tacos I honestly can’t believe they would serve that someone, terrible, I have never had to return a meal and say ‘’I really sorry but I can’t eat this’’ it’s disgusting. If nothing changes in the next 6 months I would very surprised to see that place still open as I’m sure no one would ever go back for a second visit once they had experienced it once. Last comment- get your poor staff a nice uniform to wear as black cycling shorts is not ideal x

TANK Gloucester – GloucesterAnother visit to Settebellos this time with a bunch of friends who hadn't been before. They were all so impressed with the food, the service the lovely waitresses that served us Bella and another lovely girl. We were all slightly merry as we'd recorded a play at Cardiff University for Welsh Hospital Radio so had been celebrating our achievement prior to arriving at Settebellos. We were dealt with really well and had a wonderful meal. We didn't have enough time for dessert sadly but it's so great to have the outside space too to finish off with limoncello and actually some of us bought more wine and alcoholic coffees. Thank you for another wonderful meal - we'll be back soon!!! xxx
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterSadly, I did not enjoy my experience at The Cod. The table allocated to us was sticky and rickety. Our waitress was quick to help us find a suitable table though. My quests enjoyed their lunches (Pork Chop/Ham), however, my choice of the Quiche was disappointing. The Quiche was the thickness of a pizza and extremely overcooked and hard to cut...this should have been noticed before serving out It had no taste to it at all. I pointed this out to my waitress who offered a replacement. I chose to have some carved ham which was delicious. No apology offered however and no suggestion of a discount. Also a glass of wine was served out with sludge and sediment layering the bottom of the glass, apparently, this is usual in a glass of wine (it is usual in the bottom of the bottle but should not be served out into a glass. Pull your socks up Cod and you may increase your customer numbers.
