Food and Service was good. Our waiter made sure we were looked after, for our 10th wedding anniversary.

The restaurant has a friendly pub feeling, but less as a restaurant. The menu is short and simple with not much vegetarian options. They should add some rice and pasta options to the menu rather than burgers.

Outstanding quality Sunday roast. Generous portion, well cooked veg and tasty gravy. Plus really good value. Same cost as a Toby but in a different class. Worth booking. Pudding also a bit good!

Had the best Sunday lunch ever at the Miners Sling. Had the roast beef which was brought to the table for us to carve . There was so much meat and so very very tender and to tempt you the mouth watering puddings you just couldn't resist. Worth every penny. The staff were polite and very attentive. I would definitely give the Miners 10 out of 10.

We eat here quite often, Staff are lovely and always helpful. Lovely fresh produce good size portions just wish we had room to try the desserts as they look amazing.

Amazing food, Lovely cocktails and a brilliant atmosphere.

Food and service was excellent, definitely can’t fault it. One thing I really didn’t like was the table we were seated at wasn’t big enough, if both of us ordered a pizza each, there wouldn’t have been no way to fit them. Also we were so boxed in, I got bumped on the back of my chair every time someone or a waiter walked passed. We asked if we could of been moved to a better table which was free but told we weren’t allowed. The table we had asked to be moved to was free the whole time we were there.

Booked a lunch for 9 of us for a colleagues retirement, easy to book, sent in details of the chosen lunches, had to adjust things a couple of times but this was no problem. Looked after by Chantelle on the day with helpful, prompt, cheerful and good service, all plates of food completely cleared :)

We have eaten twice and been really impressed with the quality and taste of the food. The staff are friendly and very helpful . It is a truly excellent experience. We will definitely book again.
