Three of us were on holiday and a local deli recommended. The service is unobtrusive but difficult with masks etc. The food was excellent. My friend commented that it would have been nice with lights dimmed and tea lights/candles on the tables.

For mains Mary had the Boar Burger with triple cooked chips which proved too much for her !! I had the Dexter Steak , rare, cooked to perfection and one of the best steak I've ever eaten. A bottle of French Cabernet Sauvignon was a great choice. A fine birthday evening out.

Our waitress was attentive and could not have been nicer! we had chicken Supremes, pie of the day and a ham & eggs meals. we all agreed they were by far the best meals we had ever eaten in this pub and certainly intend to return soon. The pub was a bit chilly.

The cocktails were great, especially the tiramisu martini. We've been to this restaurant several times now and it never disappoints. The staff are all very friendly and lovely. It's the best restaurant in Gloucester.

The service was so prompt, friendly, welcoming and professional and the food just couldn’t be faulted. It was utterly delicious. I am very impressed but every single aspect of this place.

Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterWe had a table for 6 booked for Sunday lunch as soon as 4 of us were seated we were asked for a drinks order ! Our last 2 guests arrived and the meals were ordered straight away. Our granddaughter found a hair in her meal and a pork joint was delivered instead of turkey plus all the vegetables were supplied in one large dish all mixed together, one person didn’t eat peas but had no option to put them on her plate with the rest of the vegetables or pick them out one at a time. We had been looking for somewhere as a family to eat Sunday lunch but we felt we were rushed and we were disappointed overall.

The steak was particularly fab, cooked to perfection - it's very rare that I get served a steak that is actually rare but at Settebello they cook it perfectly every time! Service was great as well.
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterWe had lunch at the Mason's Arms yesterday, a Friday lunchtime. We came with friends who have not been before. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the steak and mushroom pie, with fresh vegetable and chips. Delicious flavour and very large portion. The others all had choices from the lunch menu, which is good value if you have two or three courses. Great food, atmosphere and lovely staff. Will certainly be coming again (actually booked for a couple of weeks already!). Many thanks.
