We celebrated my husbands birthday at this lovely restaurant. The service was amazing and the metre long pizza was delicious although we needed a few more friends to share it with! Ambience lovely too!

Good food, friendly service and overall good value. Loads of vegetarian options which is appreciated. Look forward to returning.

amazing service, only flaw was that the drinks were half full with ice so you don’t get what you are paying for, other than that amazing atmosphere and staff.

Great Sunday roast , lovely atmosphere, great front of house

Came to Settebello as a group of 4, we waited at the door and staff soon gave us a warm welcome and showed us to our table as we pre-booked. Our waiter was very attentive, he took the time to talk to us and build a rapport and was really good. The food was absolutely amazing. My only critique was there was just so much! It was quite busy with some large bookings but it had a nice atmosphere. I think the cost was reflected in the quality of the food and the service. We will be returning :-)

This was my second visit to the miners and sadly I was left quite disappointed. Firstly, the table was crammed right by the toilets back to back with another family and every time the toilet door opened a draft of cold air blasted through. Our drinks orders were taken but the same staff member could not take a food order which felt clunky and then our meal turned up before the drinks.. The meat as always was delicious although I was a bit let down that there was still string round my beef and a large woody stem from I assume some herbs. It was a rushed experience where I couldn't wait to go back home which was a real shame considering my first visit had been so good.

Excellent Sunday Lunch, all four of us had something different. The beef and pork we cooked to prefection, the Turkey was moist and the Scampi was just wonderful. Great choice of vegetables, many thanks

Sunday lunch with a difference . We received a very warm welcome on arrival. The tables were well spaced to comply with Covid rules. A limited beer selection so chose a MAlbec which once it reached room temperature was very pleasant on the palate with only a hint of tannins. I ordered roast pork and my partner beef, they arrived in quick time served on the same wooden platter with gravy, roast and boiled potatoes and a carving knife and fork (yes they were carving portions0, vegetables and red cabbage . We then followed with cremem brulee and affogato. Delicious food and good hearty portions. Maybe the food could have been a little hotter , that is NOT to say it was cold though. We would certainly visit again, well done the Miners Sling Team.

always first class

This was our second visit and was as excellent as first visit. Food was exceptional considering how busy they were. Staff very attentive. Will definitely be back.

This was not my first visit and, again, I was not disappointed. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and the food was superb. My meal was very tasty and it was difficult to choose what to order. I will definitely be returning.
